    Marines army list, 1750 points

    Have played 40k for a long time, but never marines and so this is my first attempt at an all-round, balanced list.

    Chaplain 115
    jump pack

    Dreadnaught 115
    missile launcher, assault cannon

    x10 Tactical Squad 200
    power fist
    melta gun

    x10 Tactical Squad 200
    power fist
    meltagun

    x10 Tactical Squad 180
    plasma gun
    missile launcher

    x10 scout squad 200
    8 sniper rifles, missile launcher, Telion

    x10 Assault Squad 235
    power fist, 2 flamers

    x3 +1 Bikes 160
    2 melta guns
    Attack Bike, multi melta

    Land Speeder 90
    assault cannon

    x6 Devestator Squad 166
    4 missile launchers

    Vindicator 115

    I'm not sure about the landspeeder, or the bikes (which are there to 'tank-hunt') Please tell me what you think.

    Lascannon better than AC, works with range of ML, and both are tank killers

    x10 Tactical Squad 200

    Definately take the free HB, ML or MM. otherwise fine

    x10 Tactical Squad 200

    x10 Tactical Squad 180

    If this squad will combat squad, take a PF for the Sarge.

    8 sniper rifles, missile launcher, Telion

    You could lose some of these guys to recover points, especially Telion.

    x10 Assault Squad 235

    Fine

    x3 +1 Bikes 160
    2 melta guns
    Attack Bike, multi melta

    Fine

    Land Speeder 90
    assault cannon

    This would be more effective with a MM as well. Makes it a better vehicle and MEQ killer. Weapon Destroyed would also render it useless as it is.

    x6 Devestator Squad 137
    4 missile launchers

    This squad costs 166 points

    Vindicator 115

    Extra Armour important, and Dozer worth the points

    Should i change any of the units altogether (apart from the small upgrade changes) or replace anything? It seems a bit like lots of decent bits put together wrong to me.

    I'd try and free up some points for a Rhino or two, being more maneuverable is always usefull in a Marine army.
