Exactly 2000 points. Lots of Zealoty goodness. This is my attempt at an effective hoard army I guess. Dont say anything about my Exorcists being unfluffy either. They are not going to be the crappy organ tanks, just converted Whirlwinds, and besides, Inquisitors have the power to requisition whatever they want anyway. So I still consider this army SOB free.

Tactics? I guess in objective missions, the Arbites hold back and claim/protect any objectives in my own deployment zone, whilst the Zealots all rush foward, supported by Arco's and Karamazov, to kill anything in their path and capture enemy objectives. Exorcists and Callidus are kind of self-explanatory. The Priest will join a Zealot squad, obviously. I will also have Karamazov and a Zealot squad in combat together with something nasty at some stage and reveal his Mandate to boost all my Zealots attacks.

I don't see Adeptus Arbites or Zealots in the WH codex.

Arbites are a official trooper variant with shotguns, see Designers' Note on Inquisitorial Storm Troopers on p. 34 of the Witch Hunters Codex.

Zealots are a...let's say "semi-official" unit, not described in the codex. The rules for zealots have been published in Games Workshops White Dwarf Magazine.

Zealots are Chapter Approved as of White Dwarf 292 (US), Page 82 and White Dwarf #304 (UK), page 55.

    ---

As for the list...I don't know if it will work, it has some very fragile units and I have no experience using zealots at all. Three exorcists probably won't make up for the missing long range punch, but might distract the enemy enough to get some eviscerators up close...I don't know.

If you're going to use the list, please report on its performance!
