Terminator Armour + Storm Shield
(Vortex of Doom + Null Zone)
Bike Squad (5)
Bike Squad (5)
Attack Bike (Multi Melta)
Tactical Squad (10 )
Multi Melta+Melta gun
Sniper Rifles + Heavy Bolter
Power Fist (Sergeant)
The principle behind this list is fairly simple. The Scouts sit on an objective and goes to ground if taking to heavy fire. The Tactical Squad Drops onto or close to another objective.
The bikes and Sternguard then attacks and kills. The Librarian drops with the Sternguard and mostly uses Vortex of Doom. The three bike Squads are obviously geared fot anti- tank, horde and heavy infantry respectively.
In objective missions, the army has 4 or 5 scoring units while in Anihilation, there is only 10 kill points in the army.
The army hasn't been playtested extensively, so any comments welcome!
PS - I didn't include the points values, but this list ads up to a neat 1500pts.
I (myself) would probably shed the Librarian and use the points to beef up my Sternguard, although the Sternguard squad I run is probably overly beefed (it's clocking in at 340 or 370 points, although it hits like an effing sledgehammer when it comes in.)
You play your game, I'll play mine.
I would drop the librarian as well in this list and swap it for something heavy hitting like a tank or a dreadnought
For get your Mr T, John Mayer leaks pure awesomeness with every note he plays.
I must say, i'll be hard pressed to drop the Librarian. For four reasons mainly:
1. With Vortex of Doom, he is almost as hard hitting as any tank.
2. With Terminator Armour and a Strom Shield he can stand for a long time against much tougher opponents. And you never know when that Force Weapon is going to IK a tough nut.
3. Null Zone is a must in the Daemon and CSM heavy area where I play.
4. The Psychic hood has saved many a SM from a nasty Psachic attack.
