This is my first attempt at the new codex, let me know what you think. I'm willing to change anything and everything I have plenty of money to buy models and plenty of models to use already.
Infantry Squad A
Infantry Squad B
Infantry Squad C
Veteran Squad A
Veteran Squad B
x3 Melta Guns
Veteran Squad B
x3 Melta Guns
x2Vendetta Gunship -260
x2 Leman Russ Battle Tank, Heavy Bolters -340
Colossus, Camo Netting- 170
The two vet squads will drop out of the vendettas as well as claim objectives. One thing i don't like is giving the vets flamers. It's a bit of a waste of BS 4 but i really want a larger squad in a Chimera.
Lascannon = Okay. I would drop it in favor of an Advisor.
Platoon Command Squad: Lascannon = You Can If You Want, but there's not too many ablative wounds to go around to keep it alive and those are BS3 run of the mill Guardsmen firing it, not BS4 Veterans (as is the case with the CCS).
Infantry Squads A, B, and C: I'm cool with those, maybe ditch the Missile Launchers in favor of Autocannons.
Veteran Squad A: That Chimera needs Extra Armor and a Heavy Flamer and the rest of the squad needs Shotguns. I don't think giving Veterans Flamers is a waste, (that was more the case in the old codex), but now they're cheaper, count as Troops, and can be given Grenadiers, Forward Sentries, or Demolitions. Therefore, they have become less of the only chance to get BS4 in our ranks and more of an opportunity to field units catered to specific battlefield roles.
Veteran Squad B and C: I'm cool with those.
Split the Vendettas into two separate units to avoid the squadron rules.
Again, split the Leman Russes into two separate units to avoid the squadron rules.

Pretty much what counterwavecounter said. I would give up one missile launcher for an autocannon. With Veteran Squad A I believe it needs some changes. Flamers are a waste on them. You could try meltas or plasma guns. All shotgun seems to me a bit pointless. Now if it was the SM shotgun I would say go for it but since its not Im still in the air about the subject. And yes split the vendettas and Leman Russ tanks so you do not suffer the squadron rules.
Lascannon = fail at BS3.
Autocannon > Missile Launcher.
Vets + meltas = awesome.
Vendettas = win.
Squadrons = fail.
I hope that covers all the bases. Add a Master of the Fleet to your CCS and keep them tucked away in a Chimera. Or, go all out with meltas for more tank busting goodness.
Meltas on Vets are great, but I don't like carapace much as you can drop into cover or GtG.
I agree with the squadrons though
GtG prevents you from shooting the next turn so you can't use your meltas. And when assaulted the GtG is useless. Carapace I still find useful. But the all melta squad I can agree with you on.
How did you know?
I don't mind them really, but when you can get an autocannon cheaper (superior against infantry and tanks AV12 and below) and meltas (better against any vehicle) I don't see much point to them.
If you GtG you don't shoot, unless your CCS orders you back up. It's a sacrifice you make as needed, to cap an objective, contest, or just provide another target for your opponent.
I avoid it unless I have no other option, then it's pretty handy.
