I just finished building this army this week and had a chance to play it on Saturday . I played against a khorne/nurgle chaos army. I ended up winning by massacre in a objective mission. My army is low on troops but its really hard getting rid of both command squads. They surely can rip up your whole army if not dealt with quickly. Tell me what you guys think of an army like this one.

Low on troops? Your army has NO troops! Bike Squads and Command Squads certainly don't count as troops, so where are the troops? You need a minimum of 2!

I'm not 100% sure if White Scars armies can still use Bikes as Troops choices, if they can then use White Scars and you'll be fine but if they can't then this list isn't valid.

Space Marine Captains on a bike let you take bike squads of 5 or more bikes as a troop choice so i actually have three troop choices. They dont have to be white scars or ravenwing its just regular codex marines.

Well then why are you saying your army is low on troops? 3 troops choices should be enough.

I don't think your army should face problems other than the low numbers which is usually made up for with the fast movement.

And I still think you should use White Scars, they're much cooler than basic boring Ultramarines ¬¬

what do i gain for using white scars? Im just using the space marine codex for my army which will be the iron snakes chapter. The thing with having only 17 models for troops its easy for my opponent to concentrate on destroying them thats what i meant in low on troops. I just have to keep playing more games with this list and see if people can actually handle the two command squads effectively. So far they havent and pay dearly for it.

2 command squads in 1850 points? Ouch!

You've plenty of meltaguns in the tactical squds, so I'd swap those in the command squads to Plasmaguns - the apocethary and power armour will save you from most of those errant '1' to hits.

Technically this doesn't have to be an ultramarine army just because he's got no WS special characters. I'd say this is about as White Scar as you can get
