Pease give ideas and lists for a Sharpe(95th rifles) themed army of 1500pts as i am not very good at army lists. Try and include Bastonne and Harker for fluff reasons

u mean harper? erm as seens as they are rifles id take them as very mobile/elite and not particulary armour heavy.
Id take a valkyre, chimeras as sharp is a fast unit, lots of stormies and vets. Amrour should be elite aka with pask, use a demolisher,
erm for harper use an orgrin model LOL or maybe a catachan model and put some hair on it (catachans very big and muscley like harper), sharpe could be one of the new officers in the command squad pack with a few adaptions, try to model him with a long sword erm maybe a cape. and a las gun or sniper, u could also customise models for the other 'famous' characters.
Colour sceme should be obvious lol
erm thats about it realy. anything else just pm me
Since your going for a themed army for the period of late Napoleonic warfare I believe you would like a mostly infantry based list supplemented with some artillery?
I'll have one for you by tonight-ish, whats your opinion on your themed army using HWS teams and or special weapon selection (Gl,flamer, melta, plasma, missile launcher, autocannons etc)?
What is some of their background fluff, I take it they have a few Grenedier type elite units (hance Bastone and harker?) with some standard line regiments mixed in? Or are they all veterans?
they are elite shooters, not grenadiers, more like scouts sharpshooters, not armoured in any way erm, no artillery in their unit, but they are fast and as mentioned elites
I was planning on having vetaran squads as the 95th and 60th rifles with the rest of the army being standard infantry of the line. HWS are fine as they can represent the rocket troops from Sharpe's Enemy, so a unit of rough riders would be fluffy. Special weapons are fine too as they represent the elite skill of the rifles. Thanks
if your going for theme, gotta take some special characters.
harker would be a good harper, and i think that al'rahem would serve as a very good sharpe, and my personnal favourite, take stracken as Frederickson.
not really sure how effective it would be, but what about veterans with 2 snipers in each, or model some ratlings as greenjackets.
sentinals and valks for armour
Alright think I worked out a fluffy list with a minimum of compromises.
master of ordinance
chimera (stock) - for protection, jut don't move it and the snipers + the MoO can do their thing as well as the chimera's ML and HB. the chimera also extends the orders range by give or take 2-3 inches, ideally this squad sits and shoots and issues orders to the HWS's.
PLT HQ I
They just trod along behind their men issuing the appropriate orders.
Line Squad I
GL + autocannon
Line squads I and III are mobile infantry for taking objectves, their plasma guns are an embeeded rapid fire suprise for any unsuspecting unit that finds itself stuck between I/III and any other squad.
GL + autocannon
Bastonne's squad is the monstrous creature/hero killer squad, use 'Fire on my Target' to deny the MC/Hero unit any coversaves from the sniper rifiles and Autocannon, the chimera is for mobility, drive fast and deliver Bastonne's squad to a suitable safe location where they can run into cover/safety and setup for long range shooting next turn.
Use Harker's USR's to infiltrate the meltas during deployment for maximum mobile infantry vehicle destruction, also if they absolutely need to they have decent assault capability between three assault weapons, + Harker's special HB, stay in cover to be very very hard to kill.
chimera is to deliver/drive these vets around to keep harker safe from being surrounded, and to keep enemies well away from bastonne's unit, only drawback is the bad consequences of gets hot.
+Mogul Kamir - benefits, your first assault charge attack is somewhere around 22-25 s6/i6 attacks, cons he has to attack the closest enemy unit, 'standard' IG armor save.
16 Sniper rifiles
Total: w LRBT+PC sponsons = 1495 bolters to CCS PCS officers = 1499
total: w 19 RR's = 1495 bolters to CCS PCS officers = 1499
total: w 3 Scout Sentinels & 9 Ratlings = 1500
LRBT + Plasma cannons - which I admit isn't much fluffy, it's more or less there to draw tons of fire and attention and kill heavy infantry/swarms/vehicles moderately well.
19 more Rough Riders - fluffy, at least I think so, and with Calvary movement + s5/i5 on first assault you can knock out someones assault elites that are creeping forwards/infiltrating/Ds'ing. But the major problem is getting them into assault before they are shot to death.
3x Stock Sentinels + 9 Ratlings - more sniping and possibly rending and pinning from afar, and outflanking or scouting multilasers, probably the most fluffy given the long range marksmanship but I can't much explain sentinels via fluff, aside from the obligatory Recon unit, attacking the enemy from behind to 'save the day'.

Thank you so much Tronics, that is one great fluffy list with nice explanation. If anyone can top it please try. Again great list thanks. I'll probably choose the sentinels as i like the models and visualise some interesting conversions.
