OK new codex came out I looked at what I have and whats in the Codex and here is my tentative list please tell me what you think. It is meant for all comers cause I never know who I am fighting each week.
Army = 2000
Officer, X4 Snipers, Master Of Ordnance
X 5 Rattlings
Officer, X4 Grenade
Officer, X4 Grenade
Heavy Squad 1
Heavy Squad 2
X3 Melta, Demolitions
X2 Bolter Sponsons, Heavy Stubbers
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
I'm not sure about the exterminators; I like the model, but your griffins already do that, and a regular russ is much better against MEQs.
Yea, Hydras > Exterminators anyway.
Missile launchers are expensive, I'd just go for autocannons.
You're short on anti-tank, more melta Vets in Valks or Vendettas or Chimeras would be helpful. A couple cheap lascannons or bastion breacher shells on your Medusa would be nice too.

I personaly realy like the list, it suits the steel legion theme. The only problem I see - as mention is exterminators, you alreay have enough anti infantry and dont need more. You might as well drop both and get nother platoon with 3 armored fist squads, this way you'll have 3 good take and hold units that can be supported by hellhounds.
Also, 4 grenade launchers is a bit excessive to put into 5 man squads in my opinion, maybe drop a pair from each HQ and upgrade 2 missile launchers to lascanons?
Ratling are a very unusual thing to see in a steel legion army, I dont think they are worth their points.
I agree, you need more anti tank. I would drop the exterminators and get two vanquishers with just a hull mounted lascannon (no side sponser heavy bolters) designating the unit for the purpose of tank hunting.
