    My intent in making this list is to have a force that, quite simply, is not set up on the board aside from my single command squad. The Veterans hide out in the Vendettas, and Creed allows the Russ Squadron to Outflank. I have the option to break down the Stormtroopers into more special weapons and infantry squads for Al'Rahem's platoon, and I'd to ask what you would change about this list while still playing around with this fun option the new Guard codex has allowed.

    Drop the individual points costs from the list before the mods show up =)

    I'd drop a vet squad so you can put the CCS in one of the vendettas... (now you start the game with EVERYTHING in reserve =) put some special weapons in there with em. otherwise your opponent will have an entire army with one squishy CCS to target... they probably won't live long enough for your reserve rolls. Barring this atleast drop them in a chimera.

    get rid of the bolter sponson on the vendettas, that's 30 points you can spread across other units (you'll hardly if ever be able to fire them).

    I'd move the plasmas over to the CCS and replace them with either another melta or a grenade launcher in the vet squads. Demolitions would be nice option on the vets if you free up the points as well.

    I'd drop the lascannons in the infantry platoon for missle launchers or autocannons, you have enough (better) anti-tank already and this will free up points.

    The outflanking russ squadron is scarey stuff for sure! I don't have the codex with me, but if you can point it out cheaper or the same, try taking 3 demolishers w/o sponsons. They'll be able to move and shoot and will REALLY scare the crap out of your enemy =)

    One concern I have with a 100% outflanking force is that your army will show up piecemeal and may thus be picked off as such. I like the idea though.

    But he will miss the Astropath bonus to deploy, I think thats why he has it anyway...
