Orbital Bombardment- Lance Strike
The Assassin is for supporting the Repentia or other Sisters for CC.
Orbital Strike is due to so many people hiding crap in terrain now... people tend to fear the Str 10 Ap 1 enough to get out of said terrain. The idea is to use it as a deterrant.
Somewhat mobile army. The only real worry is just two Troop Choices.
My first impression was 'seems a little small for 2000, must be all the equipment, then noticed ... 2500. It just feels undersized somehow.
Assault or counter assault? It does have some punch in close combat but it's going to get rapidly overwhelmed at 2500. and it's a big chunk of points, any walker or dedicated assault unit will clean it out.
Also, if you do insist of kitting out any sisters for assault a book of st lucius is required gear.
I'm a little surprised that you only have 1 canoness at 2500, they are not 0-1 restricted so unless you take an inquisitor lord they are a solid purchase.
Slightly odd setup, not sure where you are going with him. Meltagun on a warrior is better than inferno pistol, and if he's for close combat a familiar is a big advantage. 3 vet guardsmen and a str 3 power weapon won't strike fear into anyone though.
Since you have to take an inq i'm surprised you arn't going for a psychic hood user.
-actually if you don't take the lance you could pull in a daemonhunter inquisitor lord (and eversor from the list) as allies and get yourself a nice mystic / psyhood in a landraider, broadly superior to what you have here for the same points.
Though the landraider is slightly wasted without a good assault unit to jump out of it (and an inquisitor and 3 troopers is not a good assault unit)
Great fun to be had by all
Used them and they worked out ok, but still worried by them. That priest is 100 points of suck, and at 2500 your opponent is bound to have at least a couple of heavy bolters with nothing better to shoot at.
Quite a distraction though, might make deepstrikers nervous.
Battle sisters :
You've blown a lot of points on frags, kraks, power weapons, and imagifiers.
If you plan on getting them into combat you would be far better off with an Eviscerator on that VSS. For a few extra points you might as well upgrade the flamers to heavy flamers too.
Seraphim are good, though that's a very big and expensive unit (i'd perfer mine a little smaller of led by a canoness with litanies to pop the inv saves on the way in)
Again i'd usually recommend Eviscerators and blessed weapons only on sisters, str 3 power weapons don't always cut it.
A seraphim squad of that size is always going to need a book of st lucius
Feels like an afterthough or points filler unit
Always good, though dozer blades?
Lance strike :
Never had much luck with them, but they are hit and miss by nature.
I think personally the points would be better spent filling out your list - I mean it's not much of a burden to take at 2500 but you just seem to have so few units.
And it does deny you that sweet sweet third exorcist
Sorry if that seems a little negative, it just feels like you've lost a couple of squads of sisters down the back of the sofa somewhere in such a high point list.
I think a few tweaks here and there and you could have the same force structure, but have both more models and better performance out of the existing ones.
We are trying to stay WYSIWYG and unforunately we don't have any Heavy Flamers... Weird I know. Also don't have any Sera with Eviscerators.
I will take your notes and report a list here in a while. I like your suggestion.
Just a few comments...
1) Lots of small upgrades can lead to a big points sink. Are you sure all the grenades are necessary? Rosarius'? Etc... Given my next comment, I would take a double-look at your army to save points. Remember... most of your units don't like close combat that much. We like being close... but not too close!! lol
2) 2 Troops units does not cut it in 5th ediion. You absolutely must find a third, and preferably a 4th given the points value of the game (2500?)
3) The Inquisitor unit... I have a bad vibe about. If you just want an assassin, go with a nearly-naked iquisitor. a couple power weapon wielding S3 GEQs will have little impact. I really like the idea of the DH inquisitor with mystics. Also... can a regulkar Elite Inquisitor take a Land Raider? I thought that was just for Inquisitor Lords?
4) Dozer Blade and Armor on the Exorcists? Ok, I can live with that. But the searchlights wil probably not help them, being s far in the back. Drop the smoke! Exorcists should be shooting every round.
5) Drop the Lance Strike and the Dominion squad. The dominion only has 2 special weapons in it... you can get that in a Battle Sister unit, pick up some more bodies, and have another scoring Troop.
As the above poster commented.. it feels very undersized for a 2500 point list. I would suggest getting creative, maybe with green stuff, or something, and turn some of those swords into eviscerators.
Ok Altered List...

Vet Sister Superior with Bolter and Auspex
NOTE: Built to lay out alot of Divine Guidence Fire as needed.
With this army setup we dropped the land raider and went cheap on the Inqusitor. Trying to get in more sisters. Buffed up the Retinue of the Canoness.
The worry is anti armor. The Exorcist should handle most short of a LR or Monolith.
Thoughts? We tried to cheapen gear as well cept with the Canoness.
if your worried about AT maybe put your mech cannoness in a immolator with meltas?
For Michigan Apoc news and meetups.. www.mi40k.com
Ah right, ok, WYSIWYG limited.
If you use a psy-hood priest make him a lord (as before, a DH lord/mystics is better here - though it would cost you your second cannoness), you need Ld10 though, LD8 just won't cut it.
I'd pack the flamers in 2 to a squad ... what happened to the meltas from your original list ?
We are picking up another Exorcist so will drop the Retributor Squad.
Thinking of dropping the Repentia, beefing up the Inq Lord from the DH list. Give them a land raider for some fire support with 3 Exorcist. Then stick in two Mystics with the Inq Lord, leave them near the Exorcists so when something DS's they can nominate an Exorcist to pop the DS'ing unit?
If I take...
DH Inq with 2 Mystics and retinue in a Land Raider. With 2 Mystics I can nominate a unit within 12 inches to get free shots on an incoming enemy unit that is deep striking.
Can I choose the Land Raider?
If more than one unit Deep Strikes, can I have the land raider shoot at each one?
Regarding meltas and flamers, don't skimp on them. You may find that putting the meltas with the Celestians (or any other small immolator squad you take) to give best bang for buck as you can drive up, melta a vehicle, and then hose down the occupants/escort as required with the immolator.
It also shifts your flamers to the battle sister squads who will be making better use of them with divine guidance.
