    1000 points drop pod

    i am really trying to nail down this 1000 points list. sorry for the many variations i have posted over the past week

    hopefully the drop pod version will be more to peoples liking

    Librarian

    Terminator Armour
    Storm Shield

    Libby hops in the pod with the termies. I will be mostly playing against tau, chaos and IG which is a decent cross section anyway... if you think drop pod is not the way to go with this, pleas mention it

    termies can't have a drop pod but terminator models can travel in one

    You've not paid for this Drop Pod, which is good because they can't take it.

    You can't take two drop pods for one squad - drop the 2nd, and use those points to get locator beacons on the rest (for your GoI Librarian to home in on). Drop the plasma gun in favour of a meltagun - they can't kill your own dudes, and can pop tanks a lot easier. Upgrade the power weapon to a powerfist, else you could get stuck in CC with something you can't hurt.

    Against Tau and IG a drop pod list will work nicely, Chaos it all depends on what they take. You should have 5 points left, I'd use it to upgrade the ML on one Tactical Squad to a plasmacannon - the massive destruction potential more than makes up for the risk, and can make CSM cry.
