-2 Body Guard
-Double Heavy Bolter
Kasrkin Squad Alpha
-1 Kasrkin w/Flamer
-1 Kasrkin w/Grenade Launcher
-Special Operations: Reconnaissance(scouts/move through cover)

Infantry Squad 1
-1 guardsmen w/grenade launcher
-Heavy Weapon Team w/Missile Launcher
Infantry Squad 2
-1 Guardsmen w/grenade launcher
-Heavy Weapon team w/Lascannon
Veteran Squad Alpha
-1 Guardsmen w/flamer
-2 Guardsmen w/grenade launcher
-3 twin-linked Lascannon

Any and all Advice appreciated!

Ok i'll run a few things by you.
HQ: If you're going to go for a close combat Command give your commander a powerfist. Str3 doesn't threaten anything. You're Initiative 3 so will be striking last most of the time anyway. I'd loose the guys with Lasguns too, give everything laspistol and CCW or go for some 'assault' special weapons like flamers to roast units before you charge in.
However, They're still guardsmen, Ws3, T3, Init3, 5+Save Guardsmen. They wont last against anything but the most mauled of enemy units. If you want a rock hard Combat unit get Straken, 4 Vets with CCW's, Carapace, Medic and 2 Body Guards. On the charge thats 20 Str4 Init4 Attacks and Strakens 5 Str7 attacks.
ELITES: You're paying through the teeth for those AP3 Hellguns. Why give them special weapons that loose the AP? I know you've bought the box set but buy a little pack of 3 Kasrkin and just have a whole squad with Hell Guns. you can use the spare special weapons as carapace vets in a CCS.
PCS: Plasma pistol and powerweapon for Close combat and heavy bolter for the range. Try not to mix roles with squads. You're wasting half their wargear by using the other half, I'd loose the Plasma and Powerweapon and use those points for decent special weapons for the vets/Kasrkin. The Infantry Squads are fine.
Vets: Vets can take 3 special weapons. I'd highly recommend taking 3. Take 3 of the same type though. At best give them Melta guns or plasma so they can tackle enemy tanks of MEQ's. i'm asuming these boys are going in the Vendetta.
FAST: Good choice, you're list is lacking some long rnage anti-tank punch and this fills it nicely. However it's goint to attract alot of attention to it's self so be careful with him. 2 is always better than one but to get the points you'll have to loose out on something (personally i'd loose the Storm Troopers).
HEAVY: Personally i'd not bother with the Lascannon on a Russ. One BS3 Lascannon isn't going to do much. The Russ is a Troop killer so the Lascannon is generally wasted. However it's a git now you can't order the metal hull heavy bolter so i understand why people whack it on there. I convert all mine with hull H-Flamers though as thats rpetty easy to acheive.
To keep peoples attention away from the Vendetta i'd consider giving the Russ plasma sponsons to make it an even bigger threat. Stick this boy in cover and people will throw anti-tank his way and hopefully ignore the Vendetta.

I would take the special weapons from the karskins and give them to the CCS. Since they are both assault they are better replacements for the lasguns.
I would add that melta bomb too, just because I hate to leave points left over when there is something else you can throw in.
I'm not familiar with playing with the vendetta but I like taking tanks in pairs - not squaded.
Maybe play a few more games before deciding (and remodeling anything).
Sorry I didn't post a few of the details, yes Vets in Vendetta, I did give my commander the melta bombs jsut forgot to add it in. You are absolutely right about the platoon command, no need for the plasma and power weapon.
I have actually had good luck with my lascannon on the LR. Guess its just a lucky lascannon lol.
I will definately consider the Straken, can I add him in and change his equipment or does he have to go as is?

As for the Lascannon. Well stop hogging all the the luck Mine can't seem to hit for toffee. Why i went for Flamers lol. All i really mean by it is if you need the points for something else then use it.
If I were you i'd drop the stormtroopers altogeather, there are a lot of better ways to spend 175 points than that. Then losing the combat upgrades on your officers would be advisable, thats 37 more points (inc. meltabombs).
That's 212 points saved (over 1/5th of your army!). Replacing the company commander with Stracken would put you at 117, which if you were willing to drop a bodyguard could potentially get you another vendetta, a valkyrie, helhound, banewolf, medusa, basalisk, 2 infantry squads...

if you really want a combat HQ you'd be best off with:
4 vets w/flamers
Chimera w/multilaser and heavy flamer.
Even with S and I 4 the 4 attacks you lose with the guardsmen by giving them flamers will be more than made up for by one round of fire from it. As you want them to be a CC unit don't give their chimera dual HB's, you'll get much more use out of the Heavy Flamer (as you can't shoot both weapons on the move).
drop all the plasma pistol's and all the power weapons as they add up to soaking up a large number of points. Also don't mix roles with your vet's just stick them with 1 type of special weapon.
at 16pts each Stormies cost as much as SM so your paying a very high price for them. Personally I haven't found a single combination of equipment and men that makes them worth their points so my personal opinion is ditch them. Certainly don't get a 10 man squad with upgrades, just use them for trying to punch through strong saves. If you have to take Stormies though (if you can't afford to buy any more models for example) I'd advise 5 man squad's with 2 melta's to just drop down and try and down a transport.
keep the lascannon. If it takes out 1 rhino every 2 games or one chimera every 4 games it's made it's points back up, and it leaves the tank with some use left if someone inflicts a weapon destroyed result on it.
and on the 8th day god made a talking poodle and forgot all about us
