I'm new to IG so I'm probably in need of some positive criticism.
2*Company command squads
Master of Ordinance
Officer of the fleet
= 475 p
So it is a fotslogging IG list that will try to use its good long range weapons to deal as much damage as possible before sending the troops forward. Still 25p to spend on something. What do you think?

At 1500pts the second Command Squad is not really necessary. Perhaps drop it and a Veteran Squad or two and take an Infantry Platoon. This will give you access to more Scoring Units and firepower.
One is probably enough, 2 Sets of Advisors is nice but it just gets to pricey and they're not THAT effective anyway. The MoO is so inaccurate he's only really useful against Hoard armies in the opening couple of turns. But still, 120pts on Advisors is alot.
Weapons are a bit of an odd fit as well. Sniper Rifles are just not as good as they used to be. Rending isn't reliable and pinning is just not going to work. Might as well keep that BS4 Lascannon though.
I've got to agree with Nox here. A large Platoon can do the same job as the Vets and will give you more bodies to hold objectives with. Remember Vets are still Guardsmen and die just as quickly. Plus with orders kicking around a big lump of 40 blokes dcan seriously apply the pain.
A couple of Vet squads thrown in to support the Platoon is a good idea though, Give these boys the nasty guns like the Plasma and the Missile Launchers as thier increased BS means these guns become worth while.
Can't fault him he's a solid little fella!
Good and nasty but with nothing scary like a Demolisher or Russ in here these guys wont be lasting long.
Looks like a nice list to use though. You are lacking a AP2 Punch though. Deep striking Obliterators and Terminators will cause you no end of pain as you just wont be able to get through their armour. Same goes for Monstrous creatures. if you're facing a Flying Hive Tyrant or a couple of Carnifexs you'll struggle to stop them.
