Hello again i Have posted an army list before and it is a part of this list. i personally like the idea of shooty smurfs but i haven't started playing yet. so with out any more interruptions:
Space Marine Chapter Master
Space Marine Honor Guard
x1 Thunder Hammer
x2 Relic Blade
Space Marine Captain
Space Marine Command Squad
x5 Lightning Claws
x2 Space Marine Tactical Squads
x1 Missile Launcher
Space Marine Scout Squad
x4 Sniper Rifles
x1 Missile Launcher
x2 Space Marine Razorbacks
x1 TLed Lascannons
x1 Storm Bolters
Space Marine Landspeeder Storms
x2 Heavy Flamers
Total of 1500 pts
My goal with this army is to use the Dreadnought and HQ squads to Assault. The two Tactical Squads split into combat squads and use the razorbacks as a screening measure. The scout squads are my control squad. They will sit somewhere near the middle of the board and lock it down.
Hopefully, i can get some good info about the shortfalls of this army and the strong points.
Thank you for listening to me.
Vanilla Marine Army 1000 PTs W0/D0/L2
Space Marine Combat Patrol W0/D1/L0
You're okay on Troops but the SMs need better guns and Rhinos. If you can, run 3 SM units with Melta, ML, PF and Rhinos. Run a Bike Chaplain behind them to counter charge or tie something up. That's a very solid core for your army. The Scouts hold a home objective and try to pin.
Now you can buy tanks, or assault squads or w/e else you want to overcome your weakenesses. I'd scrap a lot of this list, it's very weak right now with little long ranged guns, not enough armor and overpriced units.
Sorry if that sounds harsh, just trying to illustrate what the shortcomings are.
