I am going for a small elite force that will be quick and flexible. The current strategy is that I push forward with everything and try to use the land raiders mass to block lines of sight and attempt to isolate units for the infantry to shoot up and assault. Let me know what you guys think
Honor guard 5, thunder hammer
Tactical squad, mm+m
Scout squad snipers
Sternguard(x2) 7, powerfist, 3 combi-melta
Assault terminators 5 th/ss
Land raider crusader
Land speeder(x2) mm/hf
I'd wager a number of the mechanized Imperial Guard armies would have a bad day going up against this list.
Battle for Pollux
Campaign tick is changing from Wednesdays to Mondays, first week of November.
Has the potential to be devastating, but it is pretty small. I could see that army being swamped by nids. If it's just a fun army then it should be great (especially if you know what your up against), if it's for tournies you may want to get another tactical squad (mabe drop a few honour guard and a land speeder).
That said it still seems pretty nasty as it is.
