1800 Mech List - Seeking critiques!

Hey everyone. Here's my attempt at a mech list. Let me hear your thoughts!

    HQ
    Forgefather

    Elites
    Terminator Assault Squad (5 Terminators)
    -5x Thunderhammer/Stomshield
    -Landraider Redeemer with Multi-melta

    Sternguard Veterans (10 Veterans)
    -2 Combi-meltas
    -Sergeant with Combi-melta and Powerfist.
    -Rhino APC

    Troops
    Tactical Squad (10 Marines)
    -Meltagun
    -Plasma Cannon
    -Sergeant with Combi-melta and Powerfist.
    -Twin Lascannon Razorback

    Tactical Squad (10 Marines)
    -Meltagun
    -Plasma Cannon
    -Sergeant with Combi-melta and Powerfist.
    -Twin Lascannon Razorback

    Fast Attack
    Landspeeder Squadron (1 Speeder)
    -Multi-melta x2

    Landspeeder Squadron (1 Speeder)
    -Multi-melta x2

    Heavy Support
    Whirlwind

Basically I plan on popping transports open from afar and tearing down the infantry inside of them with blast templates. The Landspeeders tackle big, nasty, tank things with their twin linked Melta weapons. Tacticals are combat squaded so the Plas Cannons are on foot, while the Sergeant and Meltagun hide in their transports only to counter fast movers who get past my lines. Forgefather and Terminators counter assault mean infantry untis who get to close, and finally the Sternguard use their Rhino to get into "Rapid-tap" range with survivors from the blast templates.

Totally willing change units, weaponry, and battleplan with your advice! I apologize if my summary was a bit sloppy, I'm very tired and trying to type this up!

Also, I have 10 points left over if you feel I should change the Redeemer out with one of the other LR variants.

With your termy squad, you may want to try throwing in another termy and run them with 3 Th/ss and 3 lc. I find it keeps the squad slightly more "mean" against a power weapon heavy squad. Also you want to utilize the 12 model capacity of the LR.

Your Tac squads cant fit into razorbacks. Razorbacks only have a 6 model capacity.

and whilst im at editing my post why not think of swapping oneof your twin linked las razorbacks for a twin linked ass cannon version still good for popping light armour andwith rendind not to shabby for things abit bigger

    Combat Squads, good sir.

On the list itself, it seems like you've stacked up on meltas, so any tank or transport you see will certainly be melted. I'm concerned, however, as to what you plan to do once you've popped the tank. Whirlwind notwithstanding (it's pretty meh) you seem to lack the ability to kill the troops coming out of the transports you destroy. Which is a point of concern, since the short range of melta weapons practically demands that you be close enough to be assaulted.

I would consider a Vindicator, if you can juggle the points around, as it fits the tankbusting part and the anti-infantry part well. It will, however, be a primary target. Alternatively, you could consider shifting the armament of your Land Speeders. For ten points more, you can get a Typhoon launcher with a heavy bolter, which is competent at destroying vehicles and still retains considerable anti-infantry capacity.
