    SW 1750 fun :)

well I came up with an idea, that most of all goes with my army flaff
I didnt count up the points, but I am sure that are around 1500-1750

    HQ
    Canis

    Fast
    Thunder Wolf Cavalry x 4 (x2)

    wolfclay+plasma pistol
    Forstblade+boltgun
    Thunder hammer+shield
    Plasma+shield

Wolf Lord (for one of the 2 wolf cavarly, cause Canis will join the other one)
    Thunderwolf mount
    Runic Armor+combi-plasma

    Troops
    6x (10x) Fernisian wolfpack

1st i dont know how i can capture objectives since fernisian wolf pack dont count as a scoring unit
2nd i dont know what else should i add

the strategy is simple... any shooting hit at cavalry I can save it, or at least arrange it among them, so make them go fast at their opponets in full numbers...
if the shoot fernisian wolfpacks, 4 squads will make it to go to them... so i dont think there is any possible way to escape their CC.

I am waiting your valuable comments!

    thnks

This army is if you are not playing objective missions. With your thunderwolf cavalry, i would strongly advise you change your makeup. If you get a wolf claw, do net take a plasma pistol, as you wont get the extra attack. Instead, give the wolf claw guy a bolter and the frostbalde guy the plasma pistol. Furthermore, i am confused as to why you took a plasma pistol with a storm shield. This guy has zero attacks as a result in cc. Additionally, dont give your wolf lord a combi-plasma, he will lose the extra attack and cant assault with it.

You may be confused. The model will still have attacks, it just won't get +1 for having two close combat weapons. The attacks in its profile will still apply in combat.

My good sir, you are absolutely correct. For some reason, i counted the plasma pistol as a plasma gun, so i thought there were no ccw's.

Even then, I'm pretty sure you don't need a close combat weapon to actually fight in close combat. You'll still have your attacks in your profile when in combat.

Is there a page reference for otherwise? I'm curious now.
