    1000pt. quickly put together list.

I have never played I.G. before but they always looked like they'd be a lot of fun so I made a list up on army builder. This is what I came up with.
    -------------------------------------------------------
    HQ.

    company command squad: 140 pt.
    - company commander - two power fists.
    - master of the ordnance.
    - Heavy Weapons team (Heavy Bolter)

    Troops:

3x 10 vet squads (all have the same gear.): 420 pts.
    - Forward Sentries.
    - Heavy Flamer.
    - Vet. Heavy Weapons Team(Lascannon).

    Fast:

    Hellhound: 145
    - Smoke Launchers
    - Pintle-Mounted Heavy Stubber.

    Hellhound: 145
    - Smoke Launchers
    - Pintle-Mounted Heavy Stubber.

    Scout Sentinel Squadron : 150
    - 3x Sentinels
    - 3x Lascannon

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Total: 1000pts.

Hey there and welcome to the guard. Let's take a look-see.

First of all, is this a themed list? I see lots of camo-here, just seems weird to me.

To expensive for what little you have.

Huh, I never thought about twin-powerfists. I guess technically that is legal as the codex does state " ....and/or....". Still, drop both of them, it looks like you are making a static CCS so they will never get in CC. The extra 1 S6 attack for dual wielding is not worth the extra 15 points.

Master or Ordinance is waaaaay too inaccurate for my tastes, but you may get lucky once in a battle.

Honestly I'd mount these guys up so they can keep steady with the vets. If you want them static, camo-cloaks are good. Would also

If camo is your theme then I guess its okay, if not I wouldn't take forward sentries.

Veteran squads have the options for 3 special weapons and have BS4. Make use of that and max out them out.

Heavy flamers are crap. Too expensive and waste the BS4. If they are sitting back in cover, grenade launchers and an autocannon would work, but I'd only reccomend that set-up for one squad if you actually ever use it.

Lascannons are meh, they don't threaten high AV unless taken in large numbers with "Bring it Down" so they are much better in Platoon combined squads.

    Hellhound: 145
    - Smoke Launchers
    - Pintle-Mounted Heavy Stubber.

Drop the stubbers, they are points filler. You need more special weapons in the vet squads. Two hellhounds are nasty. Maybe put multi-meltas on the hull. You don't have anything in your list that can handle AV13/14.

    Scout Sentinel Squadron : 150
    - 3x Sentinels

Tissue paper armor and can't aim. I'd drop these in favor of filling out the rest of your list.

Overall you aren't making the best use of the units you've chosen and seriously lack any anti-tank. I highly suggest melta and/or S10 somewhere to bust armor.

Mobility is lacking as well, you will have trouble capturing objectives that aren't in your deployment zone.
