What do you guys think of this 500pt CP army.
My idea with this is mainly hiding in cover, using the flashlights and autocannons to thin the enemy. The Stormtroopers are there to come in using the reroll scatter on deepstrike and pop up behind anything nasty and use the plasma to rip it a new one, be it light vehicle or heavy inf. I know plasma is risky, but in my experience with it, I've usually came out ahead, especially with the storm troopers. The ACs can also provide anti-armor support too. Primaris Pysker is too cool to pass up and for how few points he costs, I could see him taking out a decent amount.

hmmmmm if you are hiding in cover why dont you put the autocannons in the infantry squad if they're there for thinning the enemy. For "ripping them a new one" id suggest two melta guns in your storm trooper squad. They are cheaper than plasma guns, more effective at busting armour and safer for the user. You don't get the amount of shots but for heavy infantry you still have the ap3 hot-shot lasguns. So, what i would advise is giving the stormies two meltas instead of the plasmas, putting the autocannons in the infantry squad and maybe buying marbo or more storm troopers with the points left over. Don't know about the primaris physker never uesed him but i would say that CCS are brilliant for the infantry heavy army you have there. Plus they are a good bost to your gun-line but its nice to see somebody with a refreshing list such as this. Somebody actually using storm troopers instead of treating them as glorified vets and skipping the CCS. It looks like it coulddo well i have fielded lots of infantry heavy combat patrol lists like this.
You can't use a CCS in combat patrol, as the CC has 3 wounds.
The heavy weapons teams are rather vulnerable on their own, so I would put them in the infantry squads. The Primaris Psyker is very effective in combat patrol-S6 lightning really hurts people!
I would recommend flamers in the PCS, as you can encounter a lot of orks or tryanids in combat patrol, and you won't be able to rely on autocannons to deal with them all.
On the subject of stormtroopers, I would prefer to use veterans. They are cheaper and more numerous, and just as effective at shooting. More so in fact, as they can have 3 special weapons and a heavy weapon.
A nice, interesting list though. It looks pretty good, but is in need of a bit of tweaking.
wow, i never knew you couldn't field a CCS hmmmmm he wants to deep strike so veterans arn't viable.
Aye, I'd second the advice on putting the Heavy weapon teams into the Infantry squads. A single HWS is to vunerable to enemy fire. Plus it will free up 45 pts.
PCS - Loose the Plasma gun. It's too expensive for BS3 and doesn't really match the 3 G-Launchers in the unit. Just take 4 G-Launchers. Plus having all those Autocannons in Infantry Squads you don't really need the Melta bomb either. That saves you 15pts (change the Plasma to a G-Launcher)
Thats 60pts to play with now. Thats almost another Infantry Squad with Autocannon/G-Launcher. Almost Marbo for some Democharge horridness or almost a Hydra ((which are seriously nasty at Combat Patrol))
I should clarify the rules for the game I'll be playing in:
•Armies cannot exceed 500 points.
•You must have at least one Troops choice.
•You may have one HQ choice, but no more than one.
•You may spend the rest of the points from anywhere in the Codex.
•No model can have more than 2 Wounds.
•No Special Characters.
•No 2+ or better saves.
•No vehicles with a total Armor Value of greater than 33 (Front + Side + Rear).
•No ordnance weapons

That list looks pretty solid. Just a slight suggestion here though. You've got a lot of bodies on the field there, so if you wanted to add a little more variety to this list you could add a chimera, replacing the infantry squad with the AC. Give it a multilaser and heavy flamer, and mount the PCS in it with the Psyker.
Aye the list looks pretty good! CHAD has a good point about Chimeras. They're dirty at combat patrol as AV12 gives people alot of Headaches.
I still think the Stormies are a bit too expensive for what you're getting out of them. 125pts is alot and you can almost grab 10 Veterans with Demolitions/Carapace and 3 Plasma guns for the same cost.
