It looks like your Terminators need a way to get to the enemy. Assault terminators are brutal, but ya need to get to grips with them. It's fortunate you faced off with Nids and Orks, who want to be in your face, but Eldar sound like they could just walk around your terminators and ignore them the whole game. Is there a way to squeeze a teleport homer on your rhino mounted tactical squad? The storm bolters on your Vindi and Whirlwind aren't seeming like they would be amazingly useful.
Overall I think this is a very flavorful list, and looks like it would be loads of fun to play.
Oh also, the list is 1200 points. You should re-check your math. :/
Thanks I had it as 1200 but wrote it down wrong both times
OK first thing is first, if you are primarily fighting horde type armies I would go with a Flamer in each Tac squad and no missile launcher. If you are going to hang back against the enimy and not move your squads I think a Heavy bolter might suit the squads better.
Next step. Find some points to give your terms and dread drop pods. If you aim these an inch behind your enemy(12" away from table edge plz) Hopefully you can force them either to turn and deal with a dread and assault term squad or take the beating from you while they run from them. This gives your oponent some really tough decisions to make and throws his 'swarm you lines' plan out the window.
Vindicator- BINGO I think every marine army should have one.
If possible try to cut points and get 3 speeders together. 1 speeder is too fragile and wont last long enough to make its points worth it. If you can find any extra points, get three and make them Tornado class. 9 rending shots and 9 heavy bolter shots a turn is devastating to any infantry.
I like the HQ he's Fluffy and not your usual Commander w/ veteran squad.
hey thanks for the tips
Can Terminators take drop pods i didnt think they could?
no they can't, they can only take landraiders, HOWEVER, they can deepstrike, so as previously mentioned, a teleport homer is very helpful for them.
