There's absolutely no use in using Creed in this list. You'll egt to Scout one thing, otherwise you only have two (three if counting own unit) to issue orders to. Carapace is deeply unecessary, so is Medic in most cases, he'll only save you against Get Hot!-hits. I'd exchange your Astropath for an Officer of the Fleet. The Chimeras Heavy Stubber is more ro less worthless. I'd drop:
And then get two more Plasmas. Just make sure to twin-link when firing and you'lll be fine most of the time.
Make sure to arm the Chimera with Multi-laser and Heavy flamer, this is what makes it so good.
Techpriests, suck. Really, they're not wortwhile. The only use for them is to sit in the deployment zone and babysit some artillery, and even then they're to expensive for what they do. I'd drop him.
Get them naked with 2 Melta/Plasmas or nothing.
WOW! That's way to much Doctrines man. Get one or none. I'd advice the Demolitions. Drop the PF (Useless most of the time) and the ML (can't shoot it while moving). Get them 3 Flamers and then have the guys flying around Alpha Striking nasties.
Exchange theese for Vendettas, you need the AT.
Heavy STubbers are yet again worthless, the Lascannon has it's uses, but then on a Demolisher. Keep the two LRBT but drop Lascannon + Heavy Stubber.
Pask is not really wortwhile. Drop him, make the tank a Demolisher, drop the Stubber and Armor.
For the points now freed, i'd get a pair of Chimeltas (Veteran Squad with 3 Meltaguns in a Chimera).
That'd leave you with 48pts to spend. On second thoguht you should get the Astropath to, help to get thoos STs in.
18pts to spend.
Good luck in your games ^^

Welcome to the forums! I'll have to echo Moonblade's sentiments. You have way to many points sunk up in less than useful upgrades and the army deosn't have much in the way of synergy.
Remember, cheaper is better.Next to useless unit and way too pricey. Drop him.Techpriest (75)
2 ServitorsKeep them at 5-man squads either: 1) Naked 2) x2 Melta 3) x2 Plasma.Elites
ST Sqd 111pts times 3 (333pts)
6 ST / +1 ST / MeltaGun
My vote is for option 2), though I don't think that you need three squads. Two would be fine.Too expensive. Drop the powerfist, it won't do you much good for the points. The second these guys get into CC, they will die. Vox on a single squad like this is meh, in my opinion. Drop the heavy weapons team, they will be mounted up and moving so they can't fire the gun. Drop grenadiers and sentires. Demolitions has the potential of being nice.Troops
Vet Sqd 195pts times 2 (390pts)
Sgt / power fist
7Vets / Vox
1 Vet HW team (Missile Launcher)
Grenadiers / Sentries / Demolitions
( in Valkyires)
Why no special weapons? You have the option to take 3 and vets are BS4. Make used of that. If you take valkyries, x3 meltaguns is great synergy. If vendettas, x3 flamers (doesn't make use of BS4, though) or stick a PCS of SWS inside with 3 or 4 flamers to roast the squishy bits inside of whatever transport you hit or burn something off an objective.
At 2000 points, you absolutely need more troops for scoring units. At least 2 more units of troop choices would be great.Good, consider vendettas if depending on what you want them to do.Fast attack
Valkyire Assault x2 (260pts)
2 multiple Rocket podsDrop the lascannon (BS3 won't get you anywhere and why are you shooting at armor with these?) and stubber (point sink).Russ battle tanks 175pts times 2 (350pts)
lasscannon / heavy stubber
Consider Demolishers.Same as above, but drop Pask and Extra Armor as well. He works best in tanks that don't use templates (which aren't the best choices either).Russ battle tank (240pts)
Pask / lasscannon / heavy stubber / EX armmor
All of the specific advice posted so far is very good. So I'll stick the more general concerns I have.
1) You have next to no long-range anti-tank.
Your two Russes together can expect to pop maybe one transport per turn, on average. In a 2K game, you need the ability to pop 3-4 on the first turn. This means adding autocannons in the form of Heavy Weapons Teams, Sentinels, or Hydras. Or swap your Valks to Vendettas.
If you don't fix this you'll get stomped badly by mechanized lists and the new Tyrannids.
2) You need more scoring units.
A Guard army needs a minimum of 1 scoring unit per 500 points, plus one. So a 2K list needs at least five. Six would be even better.
If you don't fix this you'll lose 2/3rds of your games automatically.
Hmm. Nothing more to say here, except to reinforce:
1 more troops
2 fewer upgrades
3 pick the heavy support for the job you want it to do (AV 14 go for demolishers, Meltas are good too if you can get close) Hydras are rockstars for their points and do well vs transports. Executioners are fun, but expensive.
4 IG suck in close combat, learn it, love it and move on.
Ok, see you've updated (And since you asked ):
Looks better, but i'd drop the vox in favour for another Plasma gun. The Vox won't do much in this list, seeing it's mainly mechanised anyways. Vox's are worth it when you have large combined squads, only to assure them getting twin-linked HWs and to get thoose very important orders off. So drop it and get another Plasma.
I fail to see what theese would bring to your list. You really don't need the extra anti-MEQ with three tanks and two demo charges in the list. I'd still use theese in squads of 5 with 2 Meltas or Plasmas.
Snipers are rubbish, they really are. I'd advice in giving theese guys some GLs if you wnat them to be a surprise anti-horde unit. But, truly, I've never seen a real big use of the Harker squad, at all :/.
Altough i'm guessing theese are for holding your home objective, they REALLY won't be enough. A good shot with a Colossus and they're done. Vox not worth it.
Once again, not mroe than one Doctrine. Drop Grenadiers, not really worth it since most stuff out there ignores 4+ saves anyways.Keep the Demolitions doctrine. I'd give theese Flamers instead of GLs, suits their role of fast cover/tank assaulters. Vox not worth it.
Vendettas look good (can't really do much wrong with them... )
I'd use some Scout Sentinels instead. They're very practical to get thoose flank shots in and will save you some pts.
LRBTs look good, nice and easy.
Demolisher has no real use of Pask. It will be hell on wheels for some vehicles out there, but the Demolisher in itself works quite well for this, without any upgrades. I think the Lascannon is quite allright on it. Drop Pask and it's fine.
Your main concerns are theese:
To few troops still, you won't be able to take objectives.
One chimera will be shot down almost immedietly as it's AV12 won't hold for long.
Your Storm Troopers won't do a lot as they are now. Get them some Meltas to give you some more proper AT.
And don't forget to thank all the kind people helping you now, ok?
1) Do not list individual points. It's against forum policy.
Other than that, I agree with everyting Moonblade has said. The only thing I have to add is that I'd drop the sentinel squad down to 2 Scouts.
As Kgoreham said.
I also noticed you have 77pts to spend...
I'd actually drop the Harker squad, and maybe exchange it with a Infantry Platton consisting of:
PCS with 4 Meltas and Chimera.
2 Infantry Squads with Autocannons.
This will give you more anti-AV/MC and also give you something to sit on home objective. It'll take some clever planning to keep thee guys satying there though, but I think you should have enough pts to fit in a Comissar in there to ^^
Oh, and drop the Carapace on the Command again... It REALLY isn't worth it
