    This is way overpriced and not very optimal at all. You lose 1 heavy weapon, that's 35-40pts each. you should go like this instead:

    5x LF's - 2x Lascannon, 2x ML's - 145
    5x LF's - 1x Lascannon, 3x ML's - 130
    5x LF's - 2x Plasma cannon's, 2x ML's - 135

    Much deadlier in that you can target 6 different units. Missile Launchers much more flexible and can take out transports or swarms.

    It's easy to get carried away and lavish your Wolf Guards with a whole bunch of cool toys, but the fact of the matter is, you drop and destroy 1 tank. Next turn, the enemy concentrates all his firepower trying to wipe out your 1 squad. Keep them cheap, because probably more than half of them won't live to see turn 2.

    Everything else in your army is alright.

    Wow @ the long fangs. Thanks for that. Probably dont have enough missle launchers to field them this weekend. Originally I was into two pakcs of 5 missles launchers so started building those.

    What changes would you make to that Wolf Guard team? Drop the power weapons from combi-melta guys, and drop a wolf claw? I want arjac, a wolf claw, the guy with mark and the rune priest to live to turn 2 at the least.

    Yeah, that sounds good regarding the WG's. If you want them to live, drop the power weapons and a wolf claw. Consider getting a storm shield so that you have 2 3++ saves to soak up the low-AP shots. Spend the rest on bulking up the rest of your army (maybe adding some more Grey Hunters or something that I really like...Wolf Standards).

    It could be very good...just don't forget to use it. I once charged a squad of Grey Hunters w/standard & wolf guard using my 2 squads of Grey Hunters w/WG's. He then used his standard and killed more of my guys than I did of his and actually won combat. This is in spite of the fact that I had 2 sets of power weapons + power fists. Basically ignoring 1's means that he's hitting on 3's, wounding on 3's and has a 2+ save for that turn. It was totally worth the 10pt investment.

    If you're lacking in points, you can forgo it. However, once you start using it, you don't want to leave home without it.

    Swapped a couple lascannon for missle launcher, tweaked Wolf Guard squad, added Wolf Standards to GH units and Storm shields to WG.

    Got a few games in vs proxy and a couple real tonight, tournament tomorrow. Wolf standards working out to be great suggestion and LF/WG tweaks working also.
