1500 pt Sniper Army
HQ- 110 pts
Inquisitor Lord with plasma pistol-40pts
4x10 Veterans with 3x sniper rifles each and Forward Sentries Doctrine-115pts
Fast Attack-175pts or 185pts
3 Armoured Sentinels 2xAC-175pts
5 Scout Sentinels 2x AC-185pts
(each tank will take up a slot)
I made the army so I can suppress and slow down my opponents, while the basilisk will take on the same roll except with higher fire power, and the sentinels I’m simply using them to lay down fire support and engage into things that get too close.
I like to see how you people think of this list
It looks like a fun theme, but it's not a balanced list or even marginally competitive. You're short on long-range AT, and your short-range AT is non-existent. You also have nothing that will kill hordes beyond the Bassies, which are not the best choice of artillery in the new codex.

Now I look at it a little more, Snipers isnt the best weapon in the game but all I like them for is just to waste turns on my opponents troops, and for the tanks, I keep forgeting its not the old basiliks I used to use all the time, though the basiliks dont always have to be in cover to shoot things (which is a bad idea). Well this is all I got, well thanks for your opinion. I'll see what I could change.
Just a few ideas trying to keep to your theme:
Why not a CCS instead of the psyker? Orders can help with the vets squads and the squad can take special weapons too AND come out cheaper.
The =I= lord needs a retinue if he's an HQ choice, which obviously he must be if you want the vindicare too.
Basilisks have already been covered, a leman Russ variant or 2 would be fun.
A platoon with mortar HWs could work, PCS, 2 inf squads probably comes out somewhere near 2 of those vets squads.
Some psyker battle squads would do better in elites than the vindicare, lowering Ld for pinning the must-pin enemy.
Armoured sentinels are good at slowing hordes, something this type of army is poor at.

PCS and 2x 10 Infantry squads with mortars plus vox x 2-155pts
Fast Attack-340 pts
6 Armoured Sentinels 2xAC-340pts
Leman russ with botlers sidespins and hull mounted lascannon-135pts
Leman Russ Executioner with plasma cannon sidespins and hull heavy bolter-230pts
I have now 120 points left over

What do you mean by "Fast Attack-340 pts, 6 Armoured Sentinels 2xAC-340pts"
is this 6 sentinels with 2 autocannon each? Becasue they can only have one gun each.
Hull heavy flamers are better than lascannon.
I would take the moratrs out of the inf squads and give them snipers too, putting the mortars in a separate HWS.
Some kit for the CCS?
Dropping 3 of the sentinels would allow them to be taken as 1 per slot, also freeing up points for another vets squad (possibly a chimelta vets squad or similar as this is where your list is weakest).
oops, I meant there were 2 sentinels with ACs (though having with 2 guns does sound nice, but too bad)
and for the CCS, I have a habit of doing nothing to to an HQ choice and use the points to spend elsewhere, but I could add 4 snipers and camo claoks making the squad 85 pts
and for the rest of the points and I can add 2 more vets with snipers and camos plus give one of them a chimera taking the army to 1525, for the infantry squads could just use them to lay down supressing fire or just as temporary shields
as for the leman russ hull guns, unless i can find there heavy flamers and take apart the tank, they are stuck the way it is, since this tank is old, I try not to mess with my older models also.
