After not doing so hot against space marines or chaos space marines I comprised this list together that offers plenty of penetrating hit against even the best body armor... a little weak on vehicle busting, but Land Raiders are not used that heavily by my opponents... just one if that. Tell me what you think...

You need to chill a bit on the plasma guns. They're overcosted and not that useful in 5th edition. Keep it to one unit at 1500 and maybe two in larger games to deal with backfield threats.
I know it seems like you need all that rapid-fire AP2 to kill marines, but really you don't. There's another tool you can use called "torrent of fire". Basically you throw so many shots at them that they start failing their normal saves. Autocannons, flamers, heavy flamers, multi-lasers, and non-AP3 blast templates work great and will help you versus hoard armies like Orks too. Up close you can pull out the meltas, which kill more types of targets than plasma will.
Marines may laugh at multi-lasers and flamers, but not when you start throwing 12+ shots at them. Then their little 5-man units hiding in cover start dying pretty quick while they start cursing about their (entirely average) luck as they fail saves. Once they're forced to advance on you, roll up with the meltas and the Demolisher/Russes to finish them off.
