    Hello all, this is going to be my new project which will (hopefully) be worth the time and money. lol C&C are always welcome as I am hoping to create a monster.

    HQ: Find he points to give these guys another Melta gun. Don't exect these guys to live though. Once they jump out they'll probably get shot to ribbons.

    TROOPS:
    Looks good. The only thing i'd change is the Carapace armour on the Chimera Veterans. You shouldn't be needing to get out of your Chimera. Use those points else where like on a Marbo or something else funky.

    Good:

    HEAVY:
    Like it. Ditch the Lascannons on the Demolishers. Pask in an Exterminator (with Lascannon) is really really good at popping tanks so consider finding the points for him.

    This is a pretty strong list. There's only a few changes I would make:

    1) I'd put your CCS in a Chimera and another flamer/Demo squad in their Vendetta. Since I just don't see any advantage to flying these guys around in a "shoot me" transport. Especially if you intend to deep-strike or outflank with the Vendettas. The Astropath needs to be on the table to get his reserve bonuses.

    2) Lose the Carapace Armor. It's benefit is marginal and that 60 pts could be better spent elsewhere.

    3) 2 Demolishers is too many. Trade one for a Vanilla Russ, as you'd be surprised how often a single large blast needs to be dropped across the table in the late game.

    4) I don't have a major problem with heavy bolters on Vendettas, but that 30 pts + the 60 from the Carapace is enough to buy something better.

    A good list, very much like the one I won a GT with.

    I like Lascannon's on Demolishers, but a Heavy Flamer is almost as good and cheaper.

    My opinion in NEVER EVER take Vendettas without Heavy Bolters. Seriously the best 10pts an IG General can spend. Wether Monstrous Creatures, Rhinos or heavy troops, you can't go wrong.......

    Astros give their bonus so long as they are alive. Being in reserve =/= dead, unless you're stuck with the IFAIL.

    I like the list. I might go for Hydras or a Manticore over the Exterminator, but that's it.

    Vendy HBs are indeed gold.

    I'm personally starting to like taking a power weapon/fist in my squads. It helps when you have to face what popped your ride, and my become a nasty surprise in turn.
