That is 1750 exactly so any suggestions. Tactically speaking i use the combined squad with lascannons as a firebase for the two foot mobile squads with plasma guns, the chimeras can advance in front of the foot mobiles supported by the hellhound and LRBT fire from behind my lines. so suggestions? comments? concerns?

You're wasting their BS4 and access to advisors.

Go with one of the following builds:

205 - CCS w/4 x melta, Astropath, Fleet Officer, Chimera (ML/HF) - For leading the charge.
160 - CCS w/2 x Plasma, Lascannon, Astropath, Fleet Officer - For hanging back and giving orders.

Give them meltas and put them in Chimeras with Hull Heavy Flamers. Nids HATE outflanking Chimeltas.

    Here's an example Batrep:
the back 40k: Battle Report: Facing The Ugly Bugs At Last

    Fast Attack
    Hellhound
    -heavy flamer
Needs a Multi-Melta on the hull.

    Troop

    Infantry platoon 1

    Platoon Command squad

Something like this would work better. Repeat as needed:

    125 - PCS w/4 x Melta, Chimera (ML/HF) - As good as a vet Chimelta, only cheaper!
100 - Infantry Squad w/Autocannon, Grenade Launcher, Commissar
    65 - Infantry Squad w/Autocannon, Grenade Launcher
105 - Heavy Weapons Squad w/3 x Lascannon - best for being ordered, but Vendettas or Sentinels would be better.

    Veteran squad
    -2x plasma gun
    -chimera
    -heavy flamer

    -Heavy flamer

You're packing WAY too much plasma. Your plasma to melta ratio should be somewhere between 1:4 and 1:3. Remember that meltas will insta-kill a lot of the nastier T4 bugs.

    Leman Russ battle tank
    -Heavy Flamer

I would drop one of the vanilla russes and get some more long-range anti-tank weapons. A Vendetta, some scout Sentinels with Autocannons/Lascannons, or a pair of Hydras would give you the dakka you need. While the Sentinels could also be used to block assaulters.

You could also consider trading the other Russ for an Eradicator, which is essentially just a long-range Hellhound. The two of them together just slay the smaller bugs that like to hide in cover.

As you can see in this batrep:
the back 40k: BMG Tourney: Game One

I'll wrap up by saying that a good anti-Nid list will also be a good anti-Marine, anti-Ork, or anti-IG list as well. And vice-versa. Which is my way of saying that you should aim to make a good all-comers list and not play the rock-paper-scissors fail-game. All-comers lists beat everybody.
