    2000 point list... trying to go pro

    Been wanting to get out of the for fun and hit the tourney leagues for serious action...

    I put this together, tell me what you all think...

    Why creed? you only have 2 Inf squads and creed will want to sit back to give orders, wasted points here.

    Drop the plasma pistol... its over priced and doesn't work with meltas.
    (same for all of them)

    I see what your saying... I was opting for Creed because of his "outflank" rule and his huge order radius... i don't imagine my vets will have their chim's the whole game, plus his special order (whatever its called) instills furious charge/fearless

    i do agree more infantry plus vox could be handy... I'd like to double both infantry squads

    I could ditch the hell hound for them...

    Maybe ditch the plasma guns and medic in the CCS for 3 Meltaguns & Vox

    Add a Vox to both infantry blobs and the PCS and still have 25 point left over...

    you can't give PCS camo cloaks...

    I could add a vox to all the vets for when the are forced out of their Chim's???

    the 5 points after all that... maybe give a vet squad a mortar or give the PCS commander melta bombs??? I don't know...

    It wouldn't be worth it to give the veterans or CCS voxes because I don't see them using orders very often(and if they do then its probably not as important.) Inf squads that have a main objective of staying still and shooting will be greatly improved by orders therefore voxes are much more important.

    I would either ditch creed or have his squad like this:

    CCS
    Creed
    Camo Cloaks
    Autocannon

    Then give the PCS their chimera and give the PCS 4x flamers.

    Not all that important... you could give your CCS krak grenades.

    Though you could give all your vets heavy weapons, I do and I find it is well worth 10 points per squad for an autocannon, as then they are more flexible and can be pill boxes when all enemy tanks are dead, or they have a long range gun if they are stranded.

    Hello there, I say get rid of creed, Medipack (just get another plasma gun instead, another dead guardsman is worth the extra firepower), rid of all the plasma pistols too. and it doesn't seem wise to just leave that pcs out in the open with an autocannon, it'll be a real easy KP; so i suggest dropping a sws and in its place use the pcs with x4 flamers as they are both suicide units anyway. With the extra points you could upgrade the valks to vandettas and the russes to demolishers. If you need more dakka perhaps drop the hellhound and a Vet squad for some autocannon HWS; Or just change the hellhound to a banewolf (a lone banewolf or hellhound won't do too well though). For hordes maybe change the collossus to a manticore. Also consider a commissar with a power weapon for your squads if there are any extra points, which there probably won't be, So that's just my input =D hope it helps out some.

    The SWS seem super weak compared to them toting around demolitions, but 3 flamers can be destructive as well... I do like having some str10 tanks and the hell hound back in the list...

    Better???
