Here's my BA List! I'm very new and have had some awesome help here already and need help revising my list please!
From what it looks like it's very assaulty and I know that's what BA try to aim for the most but also I'm not sure if it will have problem with mech units. I have 2 Meltas and a Missle Launcher to deal with them but I'm thinking that might not be enough...
Feel free to revise the list however you want except please leave the Death Co. Furioso and Death Co. in tact. I really want to play those guys no matter what
Also if I could get any tips or advice on placing my units. I have read a lot of strategy guides out there and I'm guess that I should almost always put all my units in reserve...what would you guys suggest with this list? Pod has to come down t1 right so my Furioso will be shot down so fast...Should I leave a rhino out for cover or something? Advice?
Death Co. Squad (5)
Sgt: Power Fist
Sanguinary Priest 1 w/jump
I would drop the dread and get a landspeeder typhoon. Then use the extra points to maybe get a pfist in your tac squad and/or a power weapon on the Death Company.
If you play against mech that dread is going to do hardly anything once it comes on. It will either get popped right away or it will be busy chasing after whatever unit your opponent wants him to.
Depending on how many points are left I would also consider dropping the rhino the tac squad has for a razorback. That way in objective games you can combat squad and have use of the missile launcher and the weapon on the razorback.

If at all possible I would really like to keep the dreadnaught...
Then keep the dread its just a recommendation based on experience from typhoons past games. You can't know how it will preform until you try it out for yourself first hand so give it a shot. Ultimately it's your army and your list do what you want with it.
Ya I understand...
I was thinking if I station the Rhino with the Tactical Squad + DC Dreadnaught behind it for los and pop smoke on turn 1 so it has cover. With this I can take off the Drop Pod as well and even give the Rhino + Armor. With the DC Dreds special rules he will be able to get anywhere really he wants on the battlefield.
Then I put everything else on reserve and bring them in on t2. Probably Deepstrike my RAS and see if the rest of my other guys come in..
I might even possibly drop the Tactical Squad for 10 RAS and reserve them and just deepstrike them t2. Give them some meltas or something anti-tank. Use the extra points for the Landspeeder w/ Typhoon Missle Launcher that Typhoon suggested...
Also...I can't find in my Codex what Typhoon Missle launchers do. What is the difference from a regular Missle Launcher?

Typhoon missile launchers are just like missile launchers (as in they can fire both frag and krak missiles) except they are heavy 2 instead of heavy 1.
If you really want to keep the DC dread then don't bother with EA. DC dreads already ignore shaken and stunned results cuz they are so angry. I'm not sure running the DC dread without the pod would be a good idea. Even using a rhino or razor to block LoS there is still much that could go wrong and have your DC dread haring off in a direction you dont want him to.
I would keep the tac squad myself, gives you flexibility in objective games where your missile launcher can sit on an objective and help with ranged fire. As such I still recommend somehow trying to fit in the Razorback for the tac squad as opposed to the rhino. Fast Razors are pretty amazing.

Mmk, I'll stick to the tactical squad then + upgrade to a razorback. Thanks
