HQ: Vulkan is great but where are your characters going? They cannot join rhino squads until you take casualties and putting them both in the LRC makes them too many eggs in one basket. What powers are you taking on the librarian. I prefer to keep him as cheap as possible.

Elites: Good terminators. I prefer the LRR if you are happy moving an HQ into a different unit. Dreads are too expensive and I would go for MM/HF in a drop pod and ditch the venerable part. Twinlinked BS5 MM isn't needed compared to twinlinked BS4. Making one tac squad drop pod equipped would give you 3 pods which is good to get two to arrive on turn one.

Fast: Good design but I would split them up. If you put a locator beacon on one drop pod they can even deepstrike in with 100% accuracy and shoot at multiple targets. MM armed attack bikes are also an ideal choice for a Vulkan army.

Heavy: Vindicator would be my choice but improving the cover save of a building and placing 2 combat squads in there with plasma cannon would be good.

Troops: All fine. I think MMs in tac squads are mediocre unless you drop pod. Even with Vulkans ability you need the range if you combat squad and you seem to have the AT role more than covered. I would take 2 squads with plasma cannon and take razorbacks for them.

    Thanks for the help ^_^

Is it possible to put split a tac squad into two combat squads and give them 2 different transports?
I would prefer not to use drop pods... because I have a separate army list for that
I was also thinking of dropping Vulkan and the Land Speeders for something maybe a captain and a command squad with a razorback, or something else (recommendations are welcome ^_^)
I would love to go get a redeemer but then again.... money is an issue. - and I have an Armoured spearhead of 6 Landraiders already....
The Venerable dread and I go way back... it's a friendship that cannot be broken
And I'm not really doing a Vulkan Army, just something I can play. At our place everyone just enjoys playing whether or not you actually win or lose it doesn't matter to the majority of us... So something competitive would be better.

You can't buy them two transports, but if you had another transport around they could ride (but not start) in it.

Unless the second transport was non dedicated such as a land raider or LSS (for scouts)
