    2250 20 Termie List

    Hi all,

    Just playing around with a different list idea for a tournament. Let me know what you think

    Shadow Captain Shrike
    Assault Termies x10 Th/SS
    Assault Termies x5 Th/SS
    Assault Termies x5 Th/SS
    Land Speeder Storm w/ MultiMelta

    Scout Squad x5 Power Fist, Teleport Homer
    Scout Squad x5 Power Fist, Teleport Homer
    Scout Squad x5 Power Fist, Teleport Homer
    Scout Squad x5 Sniper Rifle x5, Power Fist, Teleport Homer
    Scout Squad x5 Sniper Rifle x5, Power Fist, Teleport Homer
    Predator: Las Turret, Las Sponsons, Extra Armor
    Predator: Las Turret, Las Sponsons, Extra Armor
    Whirlwind

    The premise is simple. Shrike and the 10 man termie squad infiltrates. The other two termie squads come in off the teleport homers. 20 termies in your front lines as quickly as possible.

    Go for it. Let us know how it works.

    One thing though - cut the extra armour on the tanks and the PF on the sniper teams. Those'll most likely be wasted upgrades, so use the points somewhere else. Offhand, I suggest turning all 3 of your tanks into AC/LC preds, and adding in more scouts to your sniper teams.

    Won't work. Anybody who can get around Shrike & Co. (which is everybody because you're hardly the first to see this combo) will have a field day with lots of tiny, squishy scoring units. At least use shooty Terminators for the 5-man squads; deepstriking Assault Termies can't do anything until at least turn 3 and the shooty types can help guard objectives.

    Playing a heavy-Scout list is a serious handicap under any circumstances. There'll be a limit to how much help we can give if your want to keep the theme.
