Hi this im kinda new to the forum and i want to get into black templars, as i would prefer not to jump on the blood angel bandwagon a.k.a. Baal Predator so i came up with a 1500 point list that is fun and has a great fluff behind it but im not to sure it will be very competetive so please critique hard, not looking for super competetive but i dont want to lose alll the time
High Marshall Helbrecht
Whole idea is a Hammer and Anvil kinda of thing with the emperors champ going in one LR and Helbrecht in the other, then dropping dreads behind a tank line and pooping them open, smash that with LRs
and again please any helpful ideas are really appreciated
For one thing, I don't think the BT actually get the Redeemer. It's Crusaders of Godhammers for you.
I'm generally not keen on dumping 300+ points into HQs, and I'm concerned about your ability to capture objectives effectively....but go ahead and give it a shot. With DE coming back, Blessed Hull might actaully become a good choice again.
thank you so much, guess ill have to go with crusaders, but then again the group i play with is pretty chill i doubt they would mind anyway. but if i were to lets say, go with god hammers would that be to much anti tank? including the dreads with multi melta of course...
In 5th edition, it's pretty hard to have too much Anti-Tank. I played a game earlier where nearly every unit in my army was geared for anti-tank purposes, other then some Razerbacks with Heavy Bolters.
My typical BT lists are heavy on twinlinked lascannons, melta-somethings, and a couple 5 man las/plas crusader squads.
