Hi. I have made this list for a bit of fun at 1500pts. It isn't competitive, but any suggestions to make it less blindingly stupid would be appreciated (assuming, of course, that it is bad). Cheers
Sanguinary Guard 285pts
Powerfist, 2 Infernus Pistols, Death masks
Furioso Dreadnought 135pts
Heavy flamer, blood talons
Sanguinary Priest 75pts
5 Marines 210pts
Razorback, Lascanon, powerfist
5 marines 210pts
Razorback, Lascannon (or assault cannon?), Powerfist
10 Assault Marines 210pts
Power weapon, combat shield, meltabombs
Baal Predator 140pts
Heavy flamer sponsons
I also have access to Sanguinour and 10 DC with jump packs, so keep that in mind for suggestions.
What do you think? Comments welcome. Probably will be facing wraithwall, but assume that it is an all comers list.
Also, a ten man assault squad without a single special weapon makes Baby Sanguinor cry!

I'm assuming those razorback units are taccys? The pts for a taccy squad equiped as you mentioned is 205 by the way. Instead of those two units however, grab 2 equally equiped units of assault marines (just change out the bolters for bp/ccw and paint their heads yellow). You can get the same unit for 180 pts instead, plus you can add an assault weapon (highly recommended). I'd go for the melta, flamer if your tight on pts.
Also, I'd go with assault cannons on the razors. You can make up for the lost anti-heavy armour with melta guns and changing out the blood talons for fists on the dread. Not essential though. TL Heavy flamers are also great for BA razors as they are free, and benefit the most from the fast rule. Pts saved should go towards anti armour elsewhere if possible.
Likewise, for the JP assault squad, definately grab 2 x assault weps of the same sort (not plasmas). You can also grab a power fist instead of the power weapon/melta bomb/combat shield for only 5 pts extra.
Finally, death masks, while looking cool, for SG are poo. They already re-roll one hit each and the opposition first has to fail a ld test for them to work, unlikely for any unit with a Ws that will scare the guard. A chapter banner is much better for only 5 pts more. Also, the points are out on that unit by a fair bit. As is they cost 255, 260 if you change out the death masks for a banner.
The priest is overcosted by 10 pts as is. However, you could add a jump pack to bump him to 85 pts and attach him to the assault squad. However, he may be better off without any gear and attach to a Razor squad (not sure if the aura works from within a vehicle?).
Consider Shield of Sanguinius for the libby. He can only use one power pre player turn anyway so a power that works in the opponents turn is a bonus really.
With the points saved above, you could add a drop pod for your dread. It means the big guy will get at least a turn of doing some serious harm to the enemy. Whereas that is pretty unlikely for a walking, tooled up dread, even at Front AV 13.
All that would give you pretty much the same army with some minor tweaks to make it much more competitive.

Cheers for the tips. I didn't realise I was overpricing my units by so much. For 195pts I can get 5 Assault Marines w. razorback, assault cannon, powerfist, 2 meltaguns. So taking two of them, which is probably better. The priest's aura works from within vehicles but has no effect on the actual vehicle (obviously).
I will probably make some of those changes, will give them a trial run then post an updated list. cheers!
