Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi all I have been away from LO for a while but am now back, WHOOOPP! Anyways I am going to Nottingham next monday to see Disturbed with four mates and we thought we'd have a mini tournement at Warhammer World while we are there, as you do!
I have written the following list for two reasons. Firstly I like the models and secondly I have actually painted them all so they will look mint on the boards! lolz I will be coming up against Tyranids, Dark Eldar and evil Chaos Spaz Marines, so any pointers or suggestions would be good. Especially in regards to Dark Eldar who I have never played, even from older codexes.
List is as follows:
Company Master - Power Weapon
Interrogator Chaplain - Terminator Armour
Terminators - 2xThunder Hammer, 2xLightning Claws, 1xAssault Cannon + Power Fist
Land Raider Crusader - Twin Linked Assault Cannon, Multi Melta
Devastators - 1xLascannon, 2xPlasma Cannon, 1xHeavy Bolter
Marines x10 - Meltagun
Marines x10 - Meltagun, Rhino
Marines x10 - Meltagun, Heavy Bolter (either combat squad or sit on objective for fire support)
So what do you think, what would you change? Tactical advice?
Muchos appreciatos peeps!
After talking to a mate I am thinking of dropping the Company master and rhino to replace with a five man marine sqaud with plasma cannon (objective holders) and a whirlwind.
I havent read the DA codex in a while but I odnt think you can mix assault terminators with normal terminators making that combo illegal.
Sternguard are a wicked unit to take on all enemies so dropping some of them in their will help your list alot (3 different types of ammo, one of which was specifcally designed to blow up Tyranids).
Against Dark Eldar the main recommendation is disable the transports and make them foot slog, also their has been a recent FAQ come out that means DE players can no longer go full pelt across the board, ram a tank/vehicle and then assault out...also if the skimmer has gone flat out on an immobilised or higher results the thing is wrecked and everyone inside dies. So if that squad of incubi and the archon come barraeling down a flank make that your priority target as that is one of the largest threats.
Against Chaos Marines I assume it the same as against normal marines just lots of fire and get in CC with some assault weapons.

A good 2000 list i use that is near unstopable is
Ezekial the Librarian
Master Belial of the Deathwing
One Raven Wing bike squad
One Venerable Drednought
One ten man assault Termy squad equiped with flamer and chain gun, apothocary, and standary bearer
One Reg Termy squad
(Your choice of squd but would recomend a tactical sqaud or assault squd)
I would do a few razorbacks and a drop pod
Land raider crusdaer/redeemer
What codex are you using? As the DA terminator squads can only be 5 strong, no option to add extra and you can only take one heavy weapon in the squad. Heavy flamer, cyclone missile launcher or an assault cannon. And the ravenwing would be a fast option not.
Also we don't have access to land raider redeemers. Sounds like you are using the SM codex, I only use the DA codex as if my army was has it's own codex I think you should use that, even with it's flaws, it can still be competitive.
It sounds like a good list, but I have an OCD about using my DA codex lol
Hmmm, i must have a falty codex then... well, i have been needing to get back to the comic shop for few more units and while there pick up a new codex
