Hello, So I got this army. I need your point of view and comments. Thanks.
Chapter Master - Artificial armour and Relic blade.
Honour Guards - 4 guards and one Chapter Champion. They are equipped with a banner.
Librarian - Epistolary
Combat Squad - flamer
Combat Squad - Sergeant have plasma pistol, meltagun
Dreadnought - Heavy flamer
Land Speeder (1) - Assault cannon, Typhoon missile launcher
Drop pod - deathwing missile launcher
Land Raider - Multimelta
Predator - Twinlinked Lascannon, Heavy Bolters
Maybe I should take the assault cannon away from the speeder and remove the librarian and put in a Assault Terminator squad?
Give me advice please, thank you.
So, first up, I'd say your list lacks balance.
combat squads are only good when coupled with razorbacks. The flamer, meltagun, and the rest of the heavy weaps only come available when your tacs are 10 man strong. so you could at best take combi bolters on your sarges in this list. Further, I assume both you're combat squads will come in using the droppod. Since you only have one, they'll drop in turn one without support or whatsoever. From the moment they come out of the droppod, they'll be torn to shreds by enemy fire and you can kiss you're only two scoring units goodbye.
Way too many points in HQ here too. better to run a single HQ choice. librarian is great, so keep that one though.
Since you're termies will be footsloggin in, give them that shouldermounted ML for additional firepower. Land Speeder can only be bought in either the typhoon pattern OR the tornado pattern with underslung assaultcannon, HF. so your model is a no go for tabletop play.
I assume you already own these models and you made your list accordingly. Perhaps you could advise us wether you want an all comers list or do you want something a bit more tailored against hordes or the like? That way we can advise you on what to get next.
Thank you very much, weel I totally agree.
Iam actually using my Dreadnought in the drop pod.
Well Iam thinking of this.
HQ - librarian, epistolary.
Troops - 10 marines, flamer and rocket launcher (I also have model for plasma cannon and heavy bolter)
10 marines, meltagun, lascannon.
Dedicated transport - Drop pod, deathwing missile launcher.
Elites - 5 Terminators
5 Assault Terminators
1 Dreadnought, heavy flamer
Fast attack - 5 Assault Marines
Heavy Support - 1 Landraider, multimelta
1 Predator, twin las, heavy bolters.
What do you think?, I will head to games workshop on saturday =D
The libby is a good, cheap yet versatile hq, so keep that.
Now that you have two troops, they still need mobility. add rhino's or razorbacks to your force to give em some protection. Give the sarge a PW/PF and a combi bolter. this will increase their effectiveness. Remember, these are your only scoring units, so you have to protect them!
5 termies, fun unit, but give them the cyclone missile launcher and walk them in.
5 assault termies that go in the landraider I assume. they can be a lot of fun, but the godhammer pattern LR is not really my favourite. Try and go for a redeemer or a crusader. Remember that the defensive weapons rule allows you to fire hurricane bolters as defensive weapons. At this pointlevel though, you could get a lot more into your force by dropping these. You'd free up almost a third of the total of your list, but i'm not saying it won't work though.
5 assault marines, these will take 2-3 casualty's easily while trying to get close. up the squad to 10 man or drop em.
A single vindi is nothing but a fire magnet. Always run them in pairs or even 3's. much scarier that way and they'll survive a bit longer.
The real punch in your list seems to be coming from the LR with the termies, but they take up so much points. The tabletop has become a melta rich environment nowadays, so be carefull. Would I trade a 70pt MM/HF speeder to stop your LR dead in its tracks? ABSOLUTELY and then your termies can be picked off...
Unless I am mistaken, tomorrow is Saturday. Tomorrow is the 25th of December. Therefore Games Workshop will be closed. Other than that, I think that Broadsword raised the main points: assault squads are useless in lots of 5 - at least ten is required. In a game I had today, a librarian killed 5 assault marines with a psychic power in one turn. Take ten, then you can combat squad them if necessary. I found a vindicator can be quite hard to kill, but it can also be incredibly inaccurate. Taking 2 is a safer bet as it means one can be destroyed and you still have one, or if one misses you still have the other. Either way, 2 is better than one. I would STRONGLY recommend not taking 10 terminators. Thats over 400pts off the bat, and they aren't that good if their transport is taken down, or if they come under plasma cannon fire. I would consider dropping the terminators, but if you want to play them then keep the assault terminators in a Redeemer pattern LR. This gives some solid anti horde firepower. The melta gun and lascannon tactical squad is a bit useless - you will either be using the meltagun or the lascannon, because the melta has 12" range and the lascannon is heavy 1 48" range. I would swap the meltagun for a plasma gun, which can rapid fire and is like a boltgun but higher strength. It still can bust some tanks if you manouver well.
I'm not sure if the epistolary upgrade is worth it. You shouldn't be relying on the librarian for anything in particularl, as enemy psykers can nulify his powers. Dropping that upgrade frees up some points for a Landspeeder or, with some other changes, another dreadnought for firepower. I have seen the shocking effectiveness of devestators with 4 missile launchers, so consider that as it isn't too expensive in points and is quite versalite.
Other than that, I think the best idea is to try stuff and find what works best for you.
What about this
HQ - Librarian, epidemus, terminator armor
Elite - 5 Terminators
5 Assault Terminators
Troop - 6 Spacemarines, Dedicated razorback (heavybolters or lascannons?) one meltagun and sergeant is equiped with plasma pistol and powerfist
10 Spacemarines, missile launcher, flamer
Fast attack - Land Speeder, typhoon missile launcher
Heavy support - Land Raider, multimelta
Predator, twinlinked lascannon, heavy bolters
Vindicator, extra armor
Note that the librarian is gonna stick with the Assault terminator squad in the Landraider.
And the other land Speeder squad is going to deep strike normally.
Lol, i ment that the other terminator squad is gonna deep strike... Normally
You're also better changing the flamer in the second tactical squad to a plasma gun as it can be fired like a high strength. Its up to you though. Plasma guns can rapid fire. Flamers do have the benefit of being anti horde, free and good if the enemy gets up close to the squad. Think about where that squad will mainly be.

Sir Konrad is correct, you can only have a meltagun in the squad if it is at ten man strong.
Again I feel that you're choice for 10 termies + LR is too much. Over 650pts are put in these two units alone. Even dropping one of terminator units would benefit you greatly. You could use these points to increase the effectiveness of your army in general. one single speeder and a lonely vindicator aren't going to survive very long.
What if i take Rhode Assault termis away and but in 5 extra marines and another Vindicator?
