    Latest 750 Tourney List

I've got a 750 point tournament battle royal coming up soon and have been working on a competitive list to use. I'm not sure what I'll be up against entirely, but I do know a handful of the entries will be using Nids, Orks, and Necrons...

    Here is the list...

    CCS-140
    X3 Meltaguns
    X1 Flamer
    Chim (ML-HF)

    Vet-155
    X3 Meltaguns
    Chim (ML-HF)

    PCS-105
    X4 Flamers
    Chim (ML-HF)

    Inf-65
    Autocannon
    Grenade Launcher

    Inf-65
    Autocannon
    Grenade Launcher

    Hell Hound-145
    (Hull Multi-Melta)

    Hydra-75
    (Hull Heavy Bolter)

I feel I have enough range weapons to put some hurt down on "TURN1"... my mid-range is semi deadly, maybe not in the AP department, but enough to force some AR saves, and my close range packs the most power AP'ing anything one might field.

    Any feedback is appreciated...

    Thanks in advance,

    ZJ

It looks like apretty tight list. You're putting a lot of lead (plastic?) on the table for 750 points, so I think that you'll do well. I think that this list will benefit from the smaller table size that you'll see for this size of game. In such tight quarters, the precision of the inferno cannon will be your friend. Orks and Tau will hate the amount of cover denial you're bringing to the table. Nids might not care for it much either.

The only potential soft spot that I see is that the unmounted platoon elements are going to be open to assault, especially on a small table. Looking over the list, I don't see anywhere to pull points from to help with that. Supporting the platoon with the Hydra may be the best bet.
Praise the Emperor and pass the promethium!
