Try to do something a little different here, and kinda bring back the spirit of my old grenadiers list and fill the battle field with chimeras.
I'm thinking of dropping the ST squads but i really like them for the look on my opponents face when i say these to chimera can now scout.
A pretty decent list, i'm not a huge fan of the stormtroopers but they can be useful.
In most games i'd resist the temptation to outflank them and just scout them up, you are able to use smoke launchers on the scout move so you ca do this for the cover save. Then you can either alpha strike them or force your opponent to deal with them, this will slow mech armies down as they will dread moving through the wreckage as it still bristles with meltaguns.
Use this little break to take the initiative.
I'm personally not a fan of two leman russ battle tanks, i'd rather take two demolishers with heavy flamers but you could also go one and one with a battle tank and a demolisher.
Your platoon confuses me a bit though, your list is set up as an agressive mech army, but then you have these two static platoon squads with chimeras and autocannons that screams defensive mech. I'd suggest dropping their chimeras and using the points to get a sentinel squad, if you drop a veteran squads plasmaguns to meltaguns you can get a static platoona and a trio of autocannon sentinels which in my opinion would be a better fit to the rest of your list.

Well I'm trying to strike a balance, between offensive and defensive.
My original goal was to go for a steel legion force , with mechanized platoons (using ML and GL), but it felt too static. and ended up lacking AT firepower.
I'd suggest dropping the stormies for two more mech melta vet squads. This will give them more bodies and an extra meltagun per squad. I don't think that paying the point premium is worth, it at this point level, for the scouting special. On a side note, stormies are not scoring but the vets are. You can never have too many scoring units.
Scouting two units of stormies will leave them exposed and there are no real supporting elements in your list to back them up. Unmounted stormies deepstriking is a decent way to use them at this point level, but that is a suicide tactic that does not appear to fit with your army build.
Personally I think the LRBT choice is fine. I use that tank configuration with solid results on a regular basis. It works well for me vs transports and infantry blobs. When shooting vehicles, remember that the battle-cannon is ordinance, so you get to roll two dice and keep the one you want when rolling to penetrate armor.
Overall I think it's a viable list.
Praise the Emperor and pass the promethium!
