I'm trying something different with this one... please let me know what you think...

thanks in advance,
It's an interesting run at a hybrid list. I think i might try to scrape the points for a commissar for the lonely inf platoon, assuming that they are inteded as a babysitter for the the Colossus and the Hydra. The only critique that I would make is that it seems to be trying to do a lot of different things for relatively few points. The PBS is an interesting choice at 1500.
Praise the Emperor and pass the promethium!
Its a decent list, but I reckon you need to tighten up the 'focus' a bit more. Your Heavy support choices could do with some work for a start:
The are better choices than the Collossus in my opinion. I know it ignores cover (which is its main advantage) but other barrage vehicles like the basalisk have the potential to negate cover a good part of the time, and still keep their anti-tank capacity. One on its own is a bit of an easy target too. Same goes for the hydra.
1500 points really is the maximum that Marbo can go before you can justify the damage he will do for a relatively easy kill point. He really shines in 1000 points and under. 1500 might be pushing it.
Still, I'd be interested to hear how this list perfroms.
2500 points of Empire for ToXG: Points painted for month 4: 0 Points painted overall: 510
I like the Colossus - it's a very powerful weapon. It can be used on de-meched infantry when they're all bunched up and on objective holders in the back field. It also can pin and combined with weaken resolve that's a very useful power. Being able to pin deathstar units can keep them out of the game indefinitely.
The PBS is a great pick, I'd really be tempted to boost the squad up to 8 strong since you can automatically bypass feel no pain and will instant-kill any T4 multi-wound models. Since you're not running a Russ you lack that ST8+ large blast.
It's probably not the best idea to cut marbo as he works well with the PBS. If you can position him behind a squad and drop the demo charge on them, then with weaken resolve they will most likely run twice before they even get a chance to touch Marbo. He also gives you mobility in a similar way to outflankers. He's a good pick. I'd cut the autocannons from the infantry squads. You have the hydra and the two vendettas plus all the multilasers on your Chimeras. You don't really need the autocannons but ST8 is a big jump from ST6.
