Canis is ok, but a Bear Lord would be better. I would suggest a model set up as such:
    Wolf Lord
-Runic Armor, Storm Shield, Thunder Hammer, Thunderwolf, Saga of the Bear

He's 260 points, but it is totally worth it. He can chew through all of your opponents army, and can withstand a valley of shots. I would drop The Fenrisian Wolves as those are wasted points. Also, I am trying to figure out exactly how you got 235 for your Grey Hunter squads. With the upgrades you have taken, the closest I can get is 233 points, not 235 (this is for a 9 man squad). If my thinking is correct, then I would take a Grey Hunter out of 2 of your squads and in their place, add the Rune Priests, they can after all fire out of the Rhino's top hatch. With those changes in place, you can add another thunder cav to your list. So in the long run, it would look something like this:

    Wolf Lord – 260
-Runic Armor, Storm Shield, Thunder Hammer, Thunderwolf, Saga of the Bear
    Rune Priest – 110
-Chooser, Jaws of the Wolf Lord and Living Lightning
    Rune Priest – 100
    -Living Lightning, and Tempest Wrath

    Wolf Guard x3 – 129
-Combi Melta x3, Power Fist x3

    Grey Hunters x8 – 175
    Rhino, MOTW, Melta-Gun
    Grey Hunters x8 – 175
    Rhino, MOTW, Melta-Gun
    Grey Hunters x9 – 190
    Rhino, MOTW, Melta-Gun

    Thunder Wolf Cavalry – x4
-Storm Shield x2, and Thunder Hammert – 290

    Long Fangs – 190
    -4 Missile Launchers, 1 Squad Leader, 1 razorback Las/Plas
    Long Fangs – 190
    -4 Missile Launchers, 1 Squad Leader, 1 razorback Las/Plas
    Long Fangs – 190
    -4 Missile Launchers, 1 Squad Leader, 1 razorback Las/Plas

    This list is 1999

Thanks alot for the advice Wolf Guard! I had the wolves in for kinda a fluffy feel but i would want to make this more competitive geared so I will drop them and will use the GH squad loadout you suggested thanks

I tried not to change your list to much, but one thing I would suggest is a Power Weapon (Instead of the Mark of the Wulfen) and a Wolf Banner.

I always found running a power weapon in a grey hunter squad was a nice addition, maybe drop the squad of 9 to 8 and get them power weapons? Just a suggestion, but a nice list none the less!

Ok good tip. I'll try and fit some in and it will always make the model look cooler as well. Amnd are wolf banners worth it? only being used once and only on ones

Nah, I dont think they are worth it. But they look badass. Just stick to melta & power weapon.

I find that mark of the wulfen is better than the power weapon upgrade. You get anywhere from 2-7 rending attacks, which will either force more saves or rend to be the equal of a power weapon.
