    Death Company Kill Team

    So I got a box of Death Company for Xmas and I don't plan on doing a full Blood Angels force ever. So I decided to make them a kill team:

    5 x Death Company
    - 5x Power Weapon
    - 1x Plasma Pistol
    - 1X Infernus Pistol

    and then for the extra special rules, give one of them Rending, another Preferred Enemy, and another Move Through Cover.

    I also thought about Jump Packs but with all the extra terrain on the board it might be a bit risky. Anyway, thoughts? Suggestions? I'm only gonna have the 1 box (got some extra power weapons in my bitz box).

    Jump packs are quite handy for DC, no matter what the game - it helps stop them getting dragged around the board

    Good point. How about this?

    4 DC
    Jump Packs
    4 x Power Weapons
    -Give Infiltrate, Preferred Enemy and Scouts

    You've got no anti-tank in there - not usually a problem but IIRC you can squeeze armour into a kill team list. One inferno pistol or powerfist would sort that.

    You recalled correctly, most armies can get a vehicle in there (Dreadnoughts, Speeders, etc.). I'll either do:

    4 DC
    Jumpacks
    3x Power Weapon
    1x Meltapistol

    or

    2x Power Weapons
    1x Thunder Hammer

    I'd probably go with the 2nd, just in case you get stuck in CC with a big thing!
