    Every Army Has to Start Somewhere: Space Wolves

    Once I pick up the Razorback this week, this is what I'll have for a while.

    750pts

    Wolf Lord: 160
    Frost Blade & CCW, Saga of the Warrior Born
    Joins the Wolf Guard & hoofs it up field behind the meatshield, blood claws.

    Scouts x 5: 75
    Early run in, slice & dice.

    Wolf Guard x 5: 160
    x 2 Wolf Claws
    x 4 Power Weapons(Frost Axe Model)

    Blood Claws x 5: 75
    Razorback: 75
    Twin-Linked Lascannon
    Razorback is going to act of its own accord and pop any transports/threats.

    Grey Hunters x 10: 150
    x 1 Plasma Guns
    Drop Pod: 55
    Deathwind Missile Launcher
    First turn threat, I partially expect these guys to be wiped out fast depending where they d/s, but at the same time I think they'll hold up long enough for the melee combatants to catch up.

    The scouts should have some melta weapons, to hunt transports then slice & dice ;D

    A rune priest, scout pack with some sort of melta weapon(s), a LF pack with MLs, and smaller GH packs would make a better list of the point cost.

    Just my opinions, and if you run your list let us know how it goes

    Sadly melta weapons are not included with the battleforce, nor are my skills adequate to convert items such as that. There's plans for the BC's/WG/WL to be put into assault vehicles, later.

    But I shall let you know how it goes, with luck I'll be playing a few games next week, after I've finished painting my army.

    Land Raider Redeemer: 250
    Multi-Melta

    Blood Claws x 5: 75

    Grey Hunters x 10: 150
    x 1 Plasma Gun
    Drop Pod: 35

    Long Fangs: 145
    x 2 Lascannons, x 1 Missile Launcher, x 1 Multi-Melta

    Wolf Lord joins the WG, and BC's hoof it up the field behind the Redeemer, LF's provide main anti-tank, Redeemer backs them up ever so slightly.
