    new to Grey Knights... 1000 point beginner list

    I've been a long time Guard player but am looking to break into the knights for something different...

    Came up with this list, take a look and see what you think...

    1st Ordo Malleus Inquisitor-80
    Termie Armor
    Psycannon
    Hammer

    2nd Ordo Malleus Inquisitor-80
    Termie Armor
    Psycannon
    Hammer

    Henchmen-138
    X3 melta acolytes
    X4 psykers
    Chim (ML-HF, and searchlight)

    1st GKSS-225
    J has hammer
    X6 knights (one w/psycannon, all others have halberds)
    Rhino

    1st GKSS-225
    J has hammer
    X6 knights (one w/psycannon, all others have halberds)
    Rhino

    Dread-126
    TL autocannon
    Doomfist w/stormbolter
    Searchlight

    Game plan is blitz rush... Inq roll forward behind the rhino's, once the GKSS jump out the Inq join them... rhinos then push objective holders off the markers if they can... Henchmen add some high AV popping power (plus a large template) as do the dreads for mid AV...

    the psykers are the only "iffy" part to the list... not a fan of the rules for them... was thinking of pulling them infavor of a 2nd Autocannon and psybolt ammo for the dreads and maybe hunter killers for the rhinos??? that sound better, I'm not sure???

    Yes drop the psykers or upgrade them to 6 or so. I would ditch an HQ to free up enough points to get units of 10 GKSS. Drop most of the GKSS halberds too as they are too expensive for models with only 1 attack.

    Taking a xenos =][= with rad and psycotrope grenades can be a real boost to a 10 man GKSS unit. The HQ looses the psycannon but 10 GKSS can take extra psycannon to make up for it.
