The 1 paladin acts as a beacon fror Karamov when he dicides to orbital, claims an objective via ds, threatens enemy tanks, holocausts, and is a general pain

You basically thought outside of the box, ditched the usual Librarian for an accurate Orbital bombardment.
Nice one thinking outside of the box.
One Paladin on his own's not invincible, however. At all.
Grey Knights - W 3 / D 0 / L 0
You never know.
He is not just an orbital bombardment. He is a relentless MC Multi Melta, a T5 protect from ID for the paladins, and has some rad grenades to assist in H2H combat. That and his decent stateline is worth it even without the very useful bombardment
I think he's getting at the fact that him getting shot to hell is an easy point for the enemy. Put him in another squad. whenever you do your orbital, just be careful I guess.
Or at least let him keep his sword to increase his Invul save by one.
I believe the sword only works in CC. Don't quote me on that, my codex is... hiding.
i used kammarov in a muk up game with a mate, hard him target a squad of terms in combat with 23 hormagaunts, the strike killed all the gaunts but the invuln saved all terms
The basic strike is ap4 isnt it - terms should be fairly safe.
yes, but in a mechanized army-which is pretty much what everyone plays competitively right now-AP2 and AP1 (Plasma/Melta) or ordnance are common. also keep in mind that the 2+ is good, granted, me getting one rending attack, an AP2 attack, or an AP1 attack, and your good save is no longer usable.
