Welcome to Librarium Online!
My current GK lists are working well, but I am thinking of using an inquisitorial army.
Corteaz - [-]
Xenos Inquis - 83
Acro Flagellant - 150
Chimera - 55
Crusader - 150
Chimera - 55
Deathcult Assassin - 150
Warrior Acolyte - 140
hot lasgun x8
plasma gun x2
Calladis Assassin - [-]
Eversor Assassin [-]
Storm Raven - 205
Dreadnought - 135
corteaz joins the crusaders in the chimera and surges foward with ther acro chimera behind. these will be supported by the storm raven with the deathcult and xenos inquis.
the dread will be targeting any light armour and drawing fire
the callidus will appear in any elite squad and the eversor will come in from reserve later in the game.
crusaders and corteaz will charge any elite squads and make use if the invul saves, deathcult will assault high initiative units and the acro's will bog down large mobs
finally the acolytes will hold any objectives or mop up after
any comments will be helpful as the list still needs to be tested
Ah, it's good to see a fellow =][= player!
As for the list, I like your gusto, but the way the squads are organized are odd.
For example, opposed to having a squad of 10 DCAs and 10 Crusaders, mix the two squads together with 5 and 5. Crusaders soak up the hits. There's still synergy in these units, since Crusaders still get power weapons. You do this, either squad becomes 3 times more survivable!
Warrior acolytes are fun, but you've got to have a role for them, which it looks like you do, marine hunting. I love hotshot lasguns, and sometimes I do run them, but I run them as a support unit to Gks. If I'm taking only Warrior Acolytes, I'd give them storm bolters. Carapace armour is fine (hell, I've even made Power Armour acolytes work). Don't forget you can give these guys 3 special weapons. So 3 plasma rifles/melta guns, etc ...
What I'm getting at, is that chose the WA job. Assaulting, Fire suppot, etc... If you're using them as an assaulting/skirmish unit (not CC, but moving, firing, etc..), storm bolters are a better buy. If you're looking for fire support, take 5 or 6 WAs with Boltguns, and put a jokaero in the squad. The jokaero is there to upgrade the squad (any upgrade will help them), but also threaten anything with a lascannon. Also consider giving them servitors. Plasma or Heavy Bolter work well (for massed fire/low AP blast goodness), but multi-meltas can work (especially well if you get a range increase). Inquisitor would have to go here.
If you take 3 WAs with boltguns, 3 with Plasma Rifles, 3 Servitors, and a jokaero, take 2 Crusaders in this squad to soak up incoming enemy fire.
The point is, Henchmen squads compliment the GK army (though most people ignore them for some reason). If you're running all henchmen, all your squads have to compliment each other.
okay, i'll mix the DCAs and Crusaders for some synergy
my WAs are support units so i will use some storm bolters, i will add some sevitors and and jokaero but i using them to hold friendlt objectives and poor in shots at anoying
power armour isnt in the budget so they'll make due with any cover
also this is my first =][= army and i like working with trial and error
