1k Grey Knights, tried to be balanced for a Tournament

Rip it apart, doing a tournament in two weeks. Its supposed to be newcomers, of which I am (Kind of, been playing for like 3 months). The idea is that the Footslogging SS move up with the other footslogging SS and the Razorbacks provide cover, The Libby casts shrouding and footslogs with the SS right behind the Razorbacks so they get the coversave. The Razorbacks only move up 6 inches every turn so they can shoot their Lascannons. Honestly, in Annihilation games i just camp the middle if theirs terrain if not, I kind of have to just move up and take the shots, which shouldnt be too bad but still. In Objective Games I leave the one five man SS on my objective and try to keep them covered with my other footslogging squads.

HQ: He's perfect. He will have to footslog of course as he cannot get into a razorback in termie armour.

Troops: Drop the daemon hammers from the non justicar models as they are only 1 attack. use the points to swap GSS squad#3 into a Psyfleman dread.

I was actually contemplating that but using a vindicare instead. However, I think ill go with the dread because its just more reliable anyway.

To be honest I would swap out warp rift for sanctuary, or even drop the master crafting for sanctuary, as more people are going to see this list as a shooty list than a CC list, therefore closing the distance quicker and assualting you.

Apart from that looks good, although maybe dropping the MC from the hammers to take dozer blades? gives you a little extra reliability when moving through cover, and I think you have enough hammer hits in the units without the need for the MC on a fragile model.

On a tactical note* dont fall into the trap of leaving your dred back and shooting, keep him up within your 6" bubble and use him to tar pit when required.

    Regards,
