    Hey, guys.

I've been out of the game for a while, so I was hoping to get some thoughts on this 2000 point SW list. It isn't intended for a real tournament, but I want it to be good enough to do so.

Looks good but what is the reasoning behind the dropp pod on a unit with heavy weapons? Sureley they need to deploy in cover to begin firing from turn one. I suppose in dawn of war missions they could be useful but running on table from the baseline is free.

I think I would ditch the LR for the drop pod for Njal's squad and with the spare 240 points get 2 more longfang squads or one and some wolf scouts.

    Hey, Mad Cat,

Thanks for the advice. I suppose the drop pod isn't that needed for the LFs.

About the Land Raider, the thought for that was two fold really: it's a big target that might draw attention away from my other guys for a little and it has the lascannons to possibly take out some big armor. In your opinion, if that 240 worth it would would it be better spent on more LFs or maybe landspeeders?

I routinely run 2 Typhoon's and they preform very admirably in every game. I would suggest you try this instead of the Land Raider.
