    Casual play 1500 MotF list

So I got a Venerable dread built yesterday while watching a couple friends of mine battle yesterday (Wolves VS Eldar Wraith list). I figured that since I have 6 dreads now (counting my 2 chaos dreads) I might try a casual MotF list this week at the game store. Let me know what you think.

    HQ:
MotF w/Power Weapon -115 (joins non-melta bomb tacs)

    Troops:
5-man Tac squad w/ Melta bomb, Power Weapon, TL-Las Razorback -185
5-man Tac squad w/ Power Weapon, TL-Assault Cannon Razorback -180

    Fast:
    5-man Assault squad w/ Thunder Hammer -130
    Land Speeder Tornado w/ H. Flamer & Multi-Melta -70

    Elite:
    Dread w/TL-Autocannon -115
    Dread w/Plasma Cannon -115
    Dread w/Plasma Cannon -115

    Heavy:
    Dread w/Assault Cannon -115
Ironclad w/ Meltagun, H. Flamer, Drop Pod -180
Ironclad w/ Meltagun, H. Flamer, Drop Pod -180

    = 1500

Looks like fun! Why not drop the Speeder to bring a couple servitors for the MotF? With four Dreads and two Razors nearby, there's sure to be damage he can fix. You could also trade the Assault Squad for Scouts. They can use the bolstered terrain and provide a third scoring unit.

Put the Ironclad heavy flamers on the Dreads walking alongside the Razorbacks, for countering charges. It's too easy for an opponent to mech up or spread out his infantry to negate Podding flamers.

Any chance you could post a battle report? I love to see how atypical lists perform.

I am sure I will... probably do a BatRep. I will try to remember to take some Pics also. I like the idea of adding Servitors with the MotF but the issue I will have is keeping them safe. With having just the MotF he can join the Tac squads, but adding servitors will either kick the Tac squads out of the Razorback or leave the MotF and servitors in the open. The MotF still will make repairs on a 4+, not the best of odds, but better then a unit being left in the open all game.
