    1500 Points vanilla! Shooting oriented

    Hi my dear LO community

    I just want to run a list by you before I turn it on a mate!

    HQ:

    Librarian w/ Null Zone and The Avenger

    Troops

    Tactical Squad w/ Meltagun, multi-melta, powerfist and Rhino

    Tactical Squad w/ meltagun, plasma cannon, powerfist and Rhino

    Tactical Squad w/ meltagun, plasma cannon, powerfist and TL LC razorback

    Elites

    Dreadnaught w/ TL lascannon and heavyflamer

    Dreadnaught w/ Multi-melta

    Heavy Support

    Devastator Squad w/ 4x Missile launcher

    Predator w/ Lascannon sponsons

    Whirlwind

    Should be Around 1470

    This is almost everything i have! Other than this i own a LR redeemer, shooty terms and chaplain w/ 10-man assault squad!

    My mate plays chaos marines!
    Is this some-whart usable?

    Its quite a versatile list but i only have a probelm with your dreadnought with tl lascannon and heavy flamer. Either your heavy flamer is going to be out of range or your lascannon will be killing light infantry which is a waste of both guns. Do you have a spare arm, if you do swap the heavy flmaer for a missile launcher.

    Try to get more bolter marines on your devastator squad so you don't pull missile launcher guys out with the first few wounds also it will help with taking moral tests when losing 25% which could make you fall back and loose a turn of shooting.

    one question you have in your list

    Tactical Squad w/ meltagun, plasma cannon, powerfist and TL LC razorback

    Razorback limits 6 models, a 6 model tac squad cannot have a plasma cannon or meltagun.
    Might suggest dump the the tac quad out of it and add a 6 man assault squad ( minus the jump pack)
    can use the extra points to add a few regular bolter marines to the dev squad as fodder

    You can no take out the jump packs on an assault squad as this is a 4th edition rule.
    Second, he can combat squad the tac squad so the plasma gun and 4 other marines can be staying on his own objective while the other 5 marines mount in the razorback.
    Thirdly, he needs three troop choices at least or rather it is recommended to have three troop choices or more ina 1500 point game so swapping them for more devastors isn't a good idea
