Tech priest with 4 servitors 105
3 AC/ 2 plas/ 1 melta vet units in chimera 445
Hydra flack batter x2 150
2 vanquishers with las cannons 340
2 executioner with plasma 460
vets park infront of tanks for cover save then rush forward to claim objectives shooting at infantry or light tanks along the way
hydras take out light tanks and flyers then aim at infantry
vanquishers take out heavy tanks
executions take out infantry
Drop the tech priest and servitors for a company command squad with melta guns or plasma guns. I would drop some of the plasma guns on the veteran squad for more melta guns on the other one relying on only one melta gun is risky.
Also drop all sponsons on all vehicles and vanquishers. The Vanquisher is great for taking out armor but after that it can't really do much. I would replace them with a leman russ battle tank or maybe some medusa's. If some points are left over I would replace the auto cannons in the veteran squads for a laser cannon.

the vets are 3 units
2 armed with AC and 3 plas
1 armed with AC and 3 melta
sorry is unclear in description
the vanquishers dont have them anyways, the reason why i took them is last year everyone was packing AV14... how would i deal with them at range with no vanquishers or vendetta melta units?
and ive tried executioners with no sponsons and they are no where near as effective, the vets will prevent the charge so no massive need for it to move anyways
I use the medusa with bastion breacher shells for av14. It pretty much kills anything it hits.
so i loose the 2 vanquishers saving 340, replace with 2 medusas costing 280
what do you think i should spend the 60 pts on?
with that many tanks the priest will be invaluable
The tech priest is kind of a waste and does really fit with the rest of the imperial guard. If you get one of you're weapons blown up or vehicle immobilized result on a vehicle that is no longer in a squadron and successively repair it with the tech priest you can't fire the weapons repaired until you're next turn or move if you were immobilized. Leaving another opponents turn to blow it up and you're tanks are in squadrons and easier to blow up so repairing them would be a waste. If you get rid of the tech priest and servitors you can replace them with a company command squad with 4 plasma guns in a chimera. I would keep them behind your vets with meltas unload your men close range so they can take out armor with the melta guns. Then use the twin link order on them then finish off the squad inside with the company command squads plasma guns.
Not with squadrons. The Enginseer won't get the chance to repair an immobilized result. You could instead run three Russes and a couple Hellhounds; that'd be a decent mechanized list.with that many tanks the priest will be invaluable
