2000 point BA for october turny!

This is for a tourny in October

I play BA rules. But my marines arent blood angels. They are blue/grey marines with black templar maltese cross.

They are modelled with robes and the tanks have the templar FW doors. Crazy crusading mech army.

And the BA book fits i think! (and i despise the rules design of the tactical sqaud- dont like The assault and heavy weapon mix)

    Any who!

    2000 points

Librarian w/ blood lance and Unleash rage

2x Sanguinary priests w/ power weapon

    5x

5-man assault squad w/ power weapon and meltagun
Razorback w/ tl lascannon (maybe las/plas- havent desided 100 % yet)

    3x

Baal Predator w/ Assault cannon and heavy bolters

    3x

    Predator w/ lascannon sponsons

    Total 1970

Not a veteran player- I love the painting and modelling part. Don't play that much.

Any problem? - i think MEQ heavy and big swarms will cause problems

Any other things to worry about?

Swap those meltaguns for flamers and you'll have the Blood Angel "'Ard Boyz 2011" list. Must be a competitive tournament coming up!

    Not at all!

Its just elements from my vanilla marine army (combats squads with meltas in razors and predators) that i really like, and it seemes that the BA codex improves on them

Just checking, but you should know that this is one of the harshest, most competitive lists in 40k right now. It keeps company with IG Leafblower and GK Draigowing. Lists like this make people not want to play you in casual games. If you're only in for fun & modeling then I strongly recommend adding variety to the list. Jump Troops, Dreadnoughts, Land Raiders and Terminators would all be reasonably fun, modestly competitive additions.

I second the previous statement. This is the kind of list that makes other people NOT want to play warhammer. Not just not play you, i mean never play warhammer again. And that is before they even play a game with you.
Army's used: Space Wolves, Tomb Kings, High Elves, Tyranids, Tau and Eldar.

I have to disagree. This list has a lot of easy kill points. At first glance, it looks killer good, but as my own experience have shown it is very vulnerable too.

I think the Priests are largley a waste of points. You'd be better with two Librarians to spread your anti-psy cover more.

Definately give the Librarian 'Shield' as it radiates out from his vehicle, covering other vehicles round it. You can check this in the latest January 2012 BA updates from GW <m2170004a_Blood_Angels_FAQ_Version_1_3_January_2012>

Fighting this list would never make me give up.

Watch out for ThunderHammer/Storm Shield terminators, as they laugh at Lascannons. It can take you 3-4 rounds to try and get rid of a unit of 10, shooting most or all of your weapons at them.
