What do you think?? some options ive thought of include making the death co. just plain assault marines and lemartes another sang priest for the point discount on tranport. Using the techmarine as a proxy for another sang priest, and i could intorduce a captain in terminator armour with lightning claws as a HQ choice.
This list is weak in fast attack and perhaps tranport choices as well.
I plan to use the storm raven as a transport to deepstrike my tactical squad + tycho and techmarine to where its needed. I plan to put the sang priest with one of the assault squads to give them feel no pain and furious charge, i also thought about making one big suqad of 16 assault marines for the sang priest to have this effect, but is this too many men in one squad?
Suggestions about what to cut out of the list to make it 1750 pts would be appreciated, my plan is lose the hurricane bolters on storm raven+ 1 assault squad to take off 200 pts, and then take of 50 points of wargear from the tanks.
It's an 'almost there' list. You have some good choices but need to make a commitment in terms of strategy. First, a brief review.Tycho is the choice for lists that plan to use the combat squad rule extensively. That isn't the case here (and is generally uncommon for Blood Angels) so I advise a different general. A simple Reclusiarch or Librarian is never a bad selection, whereas a Captain is pointless for us.Captain TychoShooty Terminators need that CML/AC; otherwise, you're better off with an Assault Terminator or Vanguard squad.Terminator Squad, 2 chainfists
Assault and Tactical Marines should be fielded at full size whenever possible. Also (and especially against MEQs like Necrons), they need extra equipment much more than the other parts of your army. Power weapons/fists are mandatory and no special weapon option should be neglected. Meltas, plasmas and flamers all have value. The Tactical squad will probaby be needed for defensive duties rather than frontline combat.Lemartes comes standard with a jump pack, so the DC can't have him and ride in a Rhino/Razor at the same time. You could bring a 10-man DC with Lemartes and jump packs; they make a nice centerpiece, but Lemartes isn't worthwhile in other configurations.Razorback for death co.Our Techmarine is not an independent character, therefore he cannot join a squad. He can be taken out or proxied as something else for this list.I plan to use the storm raven as a transport to deepstrike my tactical squad + tycho and techmarine to where its needed.
You're better off using a Land Raider than a deepstriking Storm Raven. SRs don't have the DoA rule and will miss prime shooting opportunities. The LR is more durable for the same cost and (mostly) guarantees you'll get the charge.
I see two good directions this list could go in. Aiming for a 1750 list, would you rather use jump DC or a Land Raider as a centerpiece for your list? That choice will lead to whether you should emphasize DoA tactics, tanks, Terminators and so on.

Thanks Intrepid, yeah i think i will give the terminators an assault cannon and make the death company+lemartes just normal marines with a sang. priest in discounted razorback. I would really like to field a storm raven but i understand that it doesnt give the same 'guarantee' in assault as a land raider, however eldar and necrons can field heavy weapons that ignore av values above 12 so my thinking was in these contexts the disadvantage in av compared with a land raider would not be so pronounced.
thanks for the input nat01 been making some changes
