I am going to be facing SM and Nids. I plan on sitting back and waiting for them to charge me. If you need to know the Nids are using the old rules for now.
Theres not much I can do troop wise as this is pretty much all the models I have right now. But maybe changing Doctrines, strategy tips, and equipment could help.
If you play the nids using the old rules then sitting defensively won't do you any good if they take biovores. If they take them then use drop troops to kamakazi them.
I wouldn't drop your troops right into the middle of a CC heavy army. I'd sit back and fire, its what the Gard are best at.
